delish apple fritters. we happened upon this place af coming out of the thai restaurant in the same complex & decided to "be bad" & split an apple fritter. it was the best i've had in jax & the very friendly asian man was very sweet & hospitable.

get up early, because when they're out they close the shop. do not forget to bring cash. prepare yourself for a mind altering experience. neither doughnuts nor the city will ever seem the same to you again.

they have great donuts, however it is very annoying having to stop at the atm anytime i want their donuts because they only take cash. they've been in business long enough to have a credit card machine.

my grandmother used to work here!! the donut shoppe has the best donuts around.... by far!! better get there early though they sell out fast!! =]

yumm!!!!!!. best donuts in town!! call early to place an order to get your favorites. they sell out fast. we make a trip out of it and drive in from orange park. yes...they are that good!!!

fantastic donuts. worth getting up early for, these are the best donuts ever. but they sell out fast, so come early, and bring cash, they don't take credit, debit or checks.
also you can call the night before and leave a message (order), and they will have your order ready when you get there.

your mouth will get real happy!. these donuts are amazing! the donuts david unkelbach makes should be patented. they're the best donuts in the entire world! bar none. i've known david for 43 yrs and he's been making donuts at least that long. everyone will tell you that if you get them straight out of the kitchen, they literally melt in your hand and your mouth will get real happy. keep it up david. i'll wait in line for a hot donut any day!

little taste of heaven......... this place was super crowded at 8:00am but the donuts are out of this world yummy!!! they melt in your mouth. i especially liked the cinnamon & glazed one : ) will def be back for my little taste of heaven .
