went for their iftar buffet , i felt that most of their dishes are catered for arabic cuisine , although they say it's an international cuisine . the quality of the food wasgreatand service was brilliant as well but i expected more given that it's a 5 star hotel . even the desserts was good but was lacking some stuff that you would expect to see . overall i've given it a 4 because as mentioned the service was world class and food was not bad.

the location of this restaurant is in a very lavish hotel therefore we had high expectations. the entrance is also quite elegant as you are led through a 'secret' stairway into an even more sophisticated setting, everything about this place screams extravagant.
they have a substantial selection of salads, main courses, soups and desserts. the salads, excluding traditional arabic ones, are very unique and made with top quality ingredients. one of the main courses i took rounds of was their lamb ouzi. it was simply delightful. the only live station of shawarma was a nice addition but wish they had more stations.
the desserts were pleasing to the eye and were vast in variety that i couldn't manage to try them all as i was hooked on their amazing kunafa.
it was agreatexperience overall and i would highly recommend it especially because of the ease of parking. their ouzi is a must try!

i was invited at the cavendish at the bonnington hotel in jumeirah lakes towers, cluster j to try their new italian menu: taste of italy. it is the perfect venue for a romantic dinner. we were warmly welcomed by the friendly operation manager mrs. annabelle thiebaut. i asked her to recommend me a main course and i thank her for hergreatchoice.

we had a fantastic dinner in cavendish restaurant for newly launch italian dinner menu the table decoration of the table setup and display of the wine was attractive . the food wasgreatspecially beef carpaccio as a starter and for the main is risotto recommend by mr mollah with pairing with nice wine. the service was excellent with smile and positive attitude. highly recommended!!!!!!! 👏👏👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌

we had a resevertion for social dinning dinner for 4.in cavendish terrace. the location is very nice with beautiful view of jlt. the food was excellent with live cooking staion. the selection of beverages are very awsume. specially the cocktail. the waiter are very smilly nd huge knowledge about food and drinks. the waiter mollah who made our night very very special. thanks mollah for ur outstanding service.greatvalue of time nd money.

good english breakfast. lots of fruits and vegetable served fresh.
not such agreatplace for dinner , lacks variety and choices especially if you are not a pork eater.

we went there for the iftar. the service and ambience were excellent. food was tasty. variety was less. dessert selections not great.

overall not bad, but notgreatexperience.

hello everyone, we hope you have a wonderful start into the week again! did you experience anything new lately? we had such an amazing time and one of the best nights in a long time, at the bonnington hotel recently.

where exactly, you ask – the cavendish restaurant, on the stunning outdoor terrace, to be specific. since the addition of the terrace the place has become the al fresco dining destination, on this side of the town.

surrounded by an elegant wooden fence, olive trees and a beautiful water feature in the centre makes you feel like you are being invited to an exquisite home dinner party. the bar at the entrance of the restaurant and the second bar outside on the terrace invite guests to socialize and to enjoy unique cocktails and mocktails after one sipped a couple of wonderful welcome drinks prepared by venkadesh, the bar manager and his team.

last thursday’s event was called: social dining thursday. the social dining concept starts at 7:30 pm and lasts until 11:00 pm. the concept is straight forward, yet unique: enjoy an exquisite time with friends and connect with others while enjoying sharing style platters, a wonderful bbq and freshly grilled meat cuts, a huge salad buffet and delicious desserts served to the table, for only 299 aed per person. what a deal!

good food, good friends, good times, is the thursday nights’ concept slogan, and it is not hard to tell why, once you have been part of it. the venue itself, the delicious european bbq and the attentive service, replace the outdated idea of friday brunches around town and make ‘social dining thursday‘ the new, to – be followed trend in dubai.

launched for the first time last thursday, the terrace as well as the restaurant were chocker blocker full. ladies and gentlemen dress up for a night in style and we had the chance to take some pictures for you while enjoying pork and none – pork cold cuts to share, lard and freshly baked bread.

time passes so quickly when you are enjoying yourself. we nearly forgot to check out the salad buffet and the wonderful bbq station while socializing with other diners, however the attentive service staff reminded us about the food, and we were thankful for every single bite.

the chefs and the service staff tookgreatcare of us, served drinks none stop and even suggested us their favourites from the buffet. we had shawarma, chicken breast, burgers, oven potatoes with cream and roasted vegetable, greek salads, corn on the cob and even shared a dessert in the end. yes, we enjoyed ourselves, and yes, we ate a lot. when the food is that delicious, the service is so friendly, and the weather finally invites you to relax outdoors again however, it is really hard to stop munching and drunching while chatting with friends.

good food, good friends and agreattime, is how we would sum up our experience at the cavendish social dining thursday last week. missed t? keep calm and call them up for this week, as it had only launched last thursday and the event will take place on a weekly bases from now on. friday brunches were yesterday, social dining thursday is where you’ve got to be these days!
