excellent and priced right. my spouse and i went to the basha on the advice of an egyptian friend, who said the food was authentic and delicious. we expected it to also be expensive, but were surprised to discover the prices were very reasonable. we had the baba ganouj (sp?) for an appetizer--the best i've ever had. i ordered the chicken shewara (sp?) and my husband a grilled shrimp dish. both our meals came with generous portions of pita bread, hummus, a salad withdeliciousdressing, saffron rice, and large portions of seasoned and grilled meat. chicken was tender and savory, shrimp spicier and full of flavor. the baklava was superb, and the om ali dessert, a subtle creamy delight. loved it! staff super friendly. we will be back soon!
