not bad, but not good enough either. décor is pleasant enough. waiter friendly, but couldn't answer basic questions about menu. the salad was brought out without dressing. the waiter apologized and brought out about 10 minutes later. my steak kabobs were small pieces of dry meat placed on top of a huge bed of pretty good rice. no vegetables were included with kabobs. onion and green pepper could be added for much needed color and flavor.

great lunch spot. i went to the basha for the first time at lunch. had a good atmosphere and great food. i had only tried a few mediterranean dishes in the past but i definitely want to come back and try some more. the hummus is fantastic!

the basha nailed it!!. the basha has channeled and captured true mediterranean cuisine!! their dishes are authentic, the decor and ambiance amazingly accurate and complementary of this part of the world. the service is timely, super-friendly and completely knowledgeable regarding the menu items and recommendations. the owners personally greet you, and make you feel as welcome in their restaurant as they would in their own homes. give yourself and your family a wonderful gift and dine at the basha soon!!

possibly the best mediterranean food in town. i've been to most of the mediterranean places in the kc area, and this place definitely can compete with the best of them. the beef shawerma was delicious. the rice was flavorful and not too dry. the hummus and tahini were top notch, and the falafel were as good as i've ever had. we also got a taste of the rice pudding dessert that was fantastic! i need to go back to try everything!
