nice place for a drink but that's about it.
the food is very average and i've been there a few times forlunchand never had a good meal.
thelunchspecial is a good price but the menu is overall overpriced for the average quality of food.
staff are friendly and the decor is nice.

great place to dine! lovely atmosphere with great walls for ig photos 😉 the food was nice and very affordable (see captions for prices). the eggs benny was nice, could have been warmer but i assume the hollandaise cooled it down. i love the generous serving of hollandaise, it was a true eggs benny! the pizza was also a great snack to have on the side. wait staff are very friendly and attentive. needs were well met. will definitely be back to try the otherlunchcourses! note: must have i.d.

the bank is good for drinks and snacks but it'slunchmenu is very disappointing. i ordered a vege salad with added chicken for $17 it was so tiny i ate it in 4 mouthfuls. we had to wait ages even when it wasn't busy and when i let the staff know i was disappointed all they said was sorry and goodbye. i won't be back.

we arrived at hamilton at 3pm in the afternoon, and were most grateful to see that this was the only places still open for lunch.

the building is beautiful by the way, so picturesque. the interior has a nice ambience too, especially the back of the restaurant which looks to be a library.

was a little bit disappointed at how slow we were greeted/the service was though, given that there were hardly any people, but plenty of staffs behind the desk.

they have this wonderful $12lunchdeal which i highly recommend. the serving size of my pumpkin & feta ravioli was a bit small, but it was  delicious, with plenty of vegetables, and this creamy flavourful tomato sauce. it was one of those dish that would definitely cost $17-$29 at fancier italian restaurants. husband had their spare ribs, which he added $2 to change the chips to wedges. he said it was decent. all in all, definitely good value for money. the lemon lime and bitters were also one of the better ones.

alunchat hamilton. parking had been terribly difficult. seafood chowder was excellent - not too thick yet creamy; spicy beef salad was below par - veggie wasn't fresh & beef tough, fish & chips was good with lovely fried chips & fish; steak sandwich (angus sirloin on toast) was nicely cooked. coffees were not hot & messy in presentation. (food - 3.5/5; service - 3.5/5; ambience - 3/5)

the bank is always a great place to eat –lunchor dinner! it’s nice and quiet atlunchtime, also with $12lunchmeals. at dinner time it starts to get a lot livelier. i wouldn’t say the food is anything spectacular but has good vibes and generally good value for money.

took my grandies for lunch.. we didn't get a very warm welcome but we're served quickly and food arrived in good time. we ordered pizza n fries. the pizza was typical bar type pizza but tasty enough n kids enjoyed it. we sat out back in the courtyard which was nice n breezy for a hot day. okay for bar food, noisy for alunchtime n not really my kinda place but over all grandies enjoyed their trip out forlunchand price wise okay.

bit of a road trip down to h town today for a b'daylunch@ the b, out in the court yard. the music playing was really good and the court yard's well sheltered and is nice and bright. we just shared two $12lunchspecials as platters had also been on offer, your usual pub grub, but nicely presented and food hot.

we ordered the caesar salad and beef nachos. the salad ingredients were lovely and fresh and nachos tasty. adequate for two $12 specials. the bar staff were really friendly too.

was in town today so decided to look around for somewhere to go for lunch. i hadn't been to the bank for a while so decided to go there. i like their $12lunchmenu good variety and good value for money. i decided on the blt with fries. it was ok the fries were cold though. overall what i expected nothing much has changed since my last visit over a year ago. the staff were really friendly and the food came out fast.

been in to the bank a couple of times lately for lunch. it of a legend this place in it a few times in years gone by. it would have to be said thelunchwas a bit of a non event but adequate, the coffee was average and really the old battleship needs some tlc inside and out. some decent furniture out the front would be a good start and the battleship grey wall paint inside is frankly depressing. this spot is quite capable of been fantastic again

we headed along and had thelunchmenu which does offer a wide selection of offerings.

the staff that served us were very friendly and they kept the beers coming. as for the food it was average and nothing special. my chicken burger lack imagination but was moist and edible. the chips were nice and crisp.

ok-ish sums this place up.

we called in forlunchone week day. lovely decor. i ordered the thai beef which was divine and a very big portion, but my husband who ordered a burger was very disappointed. it was small and very plain. was lucky my portion was so big as i fed a lot of it to my hungry husband. thought it was very expensive for this burger, with an extra charge for fries.

hadlunchhere on saturday. the service was great, the waiter was excellent. we enjoyed our expresslunchmeals. i have dined here on a few occasions for dinner and have always found the service and meals excellent. will be back.

as with the rest of our reviews, we were drawn in by the $10lunchspecial. our meals ranged from chicken burgers, to ribs, to pasta, to beef salads etc, and all bar the pasta have been excellent. the pasta was very good, it was just the portion which was too small. the service overall has been excellent too. all reports from friends about bad service hasn't been witnessed by us. highly recommended, will trade again. a++

we had a really greatlunchat this place over this christmas break. really impressed by the service of our waitress kristen in particular and nice to have a chilled bottle of water immediately placed on our table before ordering. lovely atmosphere and good sizelunchspecials on the menu. i would definitely eat here again and would recommend it to all. a good combination of nice food and attentive service makes this place a winner.
