great service by the waitress staff! lovely warm atmosphere and prices are affordable.

have been there several times with a large group of friends. one was a 21st birthday, and the service was fantastic!

went there last month with some more friends fordinnerand the meals were not only delicious but again the staff were friendly and the environment great.

only con was that we had to wait a while for the meals even though it was clocking on 8 pm, not very busy, and it was only tuesday night.

however, the meals made up for it! the angus sirloin, mussels and chicken caesar salad is a 5/5.

will be going back there again. highly recommend.

the restaurant is where a bank used to be, with the bnz sign still visible on the building. we stopped by fordinnerand it was quite empty so we had a choice of seats. we ended up on the bar side of the place so the tables were higher and we were seated on stools. the place did look quite nice and comfortable. they had a decent selection of items on the menu and i ended up trying the roast vegetable ravioli. the portions were decent and the flavours were nice. there were nice chunks of roast vegetables within the creamy, tomato sauce. i also tried the arancini and thought that the coating had the texture of raw, crispy rice. it did taste nice though.
it is a nice place fordinneror for drinks. it was fairly quiet which i enjoyed so we could have a conversation.

the $20dinnerdeal is good....customer service is ok depends on who your waiter is....food is good...worth the money...will recommend.......

pretty good spot for lunch/dinneras it's in central. they have $12 lunches which are always yummy. service is a hit and miss though. sometimes you get amazing service and sometimes the staff is super rude.

the bank is always a great place to eat – lunch or dinner! it’s nice and quiet at lunch time, also with $12 lunch meals. atdinnertime it starts to get a lot livelier. i wouldn’t say the food is anything spectacular but has good vibes and generally good value for money.

we haddinnerhere when we visited hamilton last time and really enjyed the food here. we couldn't believe it was only $20 for a main. the vibe was also very nice. would definitely go back therr again.

went here fordinnerwhen we arrived in hamilton from auckland. staff seated us in their restaurant and were very friendly. atmosphere is really good but lights seemed very dark. had some dj's out on the deck which was played throughout the bar/restaurant and brought a really cool vibe to the place. meals were very well priced and tasted great. will be back.

went to the bank bar recently fordinnerwith a large party. food and service both terrible. three main meals were forgotten on our table and never showed up. to justify the meals never showing up, the wait staff told us that apparently we had cancelled the mains - not the case.the quality of food that was delivered was bland, meager and under-cooked. will not be returning again.

second time here. this time we didn't feel too hungry but obviously needed dinner. came here for a small dinner. they had their $20dinnermenu which was great.

ordered a angus beef burger and my partner ordered a angus sirloin. enjoyed my burger and chips although it would've been much better if the burger bun was warm and maybe a bit softer. otherwise it would be prefect. the angus beef was very tender and juicy. another thing would be to have aioli sauce for the chips instead of tomato but no biggie. was very filling. couldn't finish my chips :(

the customer service here is good until it gets super busy then you literally have to wait a long time for someone to seat you or have to go up to the counter and asked to be seated or if there are seats available. so best to make booking if you plan on going on a busy night like friday and saturday

had lunch here on saturday. the service was great, the waiter was excellent. we enjoyed our express lunch meals. i have dined here on a few occasions fordinnerand have always found the service and meals excellent. will be back.

atedinnerhere on a saturday night in a group of 6. we were the only diners there for the whole time. meals were well priced and generous portions, but nothing special. no atmosphere because the place was so empty.

i felt compelled to write this restaurant a review. my friend and i visited hamilton on saturday and were fortunate enough to have selected an amazing restaurant to havedinnerbefore we left hamilton city. we both enjoyed vip steak eye fillet wrapped in bacon served with dauphinoise potatoes, green beans and tempura coated mushrooms the meal was cooked to perfection, we both devoured our entire main meals and admired the many different mains coming from the kitchen. if only we lived closer. the bank could show some of our auckland chef's a trick or two, this has been my favorite meal out in a long time. well done to the chef's and the great waiting staff you were all exceptional in making our dining experience one to remember and we will be telling others about your restaurant and service. see you again when we return.thank you!

the first time i had been into the bank to eat not to dance. we got a large comfy booth which for the two of us was very nice. staff were friendly, attentive and genuine. our food was hot, fast, yummy and of a generous size. very happy to recommend, the first time we've been out fordinnerand left full and more than content. an inspired choice of music playing, a great environment.

i went fordinneryesterday and arrived about 6. it was quite busy with about 75% of dining area full. the first waiter put me to one of the table and told me he would come back with the menu but he's never return. i asked the second waitress for a menu and waited for ages but finally got it at about 6.30. i requested for water but by the time i finished my meal, i still didn't get it! the staff didn't seem to care. food was ok, nothing great. there were so many flies on the table which really disgusting. what can i say...it's one of the worst dining experience i have. definitely won't go back again.
