evening in manchester and decided to eat and drink in the alchemist.staffare great, attentive, efficient and nothing is too much trouble. we had delicious starters and mains and 4 gorgeous cocktails. £70 so reasonable too! we will be back.

had been here with friends for dinner. good music good drinks and tasty nibble food. the main course has a good variety andstaffis very kind. reservations are recommended before the visit.

the rating is all for the ambience and taste of food and the drinks (off course!) they are fancy. but i had far too high expectations from the place. (somehow not that satisfied)
i particularly did not find thestaffto be helpful in suggestions, as for someone who visits the place for first time.
the ambience is too good ! would love to go again & explore more. give it one more chance!

it's a pretty place, well lit at night. thestaffis friendly and courteous and the cocktails are quite delicious. they also offer a wide variety of wine.
