dim lighting throughout coupled with lots of old apothecary props gives this a really smart and intriguing atmosphere. busy poular place gives it a good bustling but relaxed atmosphere. bottle of wine served up in a chiller of dry ice was a fun unexpected touch. as was the rolled up bill in a wee medicine bottle and drinks served in smoking copper kettles. food was good too as was the service. topeveningand good find after trawling round various eateries.
