one of my favorite eateries in durban.uniquefoodand always well prepared.the very hands on owner and brilliant host always makes everyone feel welcome and he manages the space he has extremely well especially when it's peak hour fri or sat eve.they don't have a huge extensive menu..just a few dishes that they perfect.the favorites amongst many including myself would be the coimbra chicken..a very unique taste.also the pizza pane.the prawns and also the steak👍🏻.the jugs of either cola tonic or passion fruit are made with perfection..always had a good experience at this place and will continue to go back every time.

the address has buffet on a friday. they had dhall and rice as well as biryani . both were very tasty . on the side they papad,achaar ,kachumar. they served sweet as well. 
i have tasted the a la carte menu as well. the chicken (coimbre) was awesome. 
goodfoodwill definitely be back again.

quite a cramped setting. thefoodwas really disappointing. i ordered a margherita pizza for my kids and made it clear to the waitress that it was for the babies. the pizza base is a hot sauce, not a tomato sauce and this isn't indicated on the menu. poor kids couldn't eat it at all! i ordered a grilled kingklip, it was over-cooked with what felt like an entire lemon squeezed over it. extremely sour and overly spicy.
their calzone was not bad, but i would not return nor would i recommend.

talk of the town 😎 from the service to thefoodi just love this place. a little pricey but u won't eat a better chicken than the coimbra chicken served here! the aloo parata is not like any other u have tasted, the dough is very soft and the potatoe is delish! their kebabs are a winner but a bit tooo small nw dys. a friend of mine had the prawns and it really is the best i'd say!

what an awful experience. thefoodis not worth the price which is to pricey. fromfoodto drinks it was a disaster. over fried and dried chips, a burger bun which was over buttered. the drinks was a warm water, no ice no lemon. we got happy to see the coke was the ones in a glass bottle only to be disappointed because it tasted flat. while sitting at the restaurant we saw the difference in reception and service to customers, we had very bad service. we would have gotten amazingfoodat canvas grill or casablanca. first and last time to ever go to this restaurant.

got food, great service an otherwise great atmosphere that gets a tad bit too much on weekends.foodis slightly overpriced but the service makes it worthwhile

had a meal here during a week day and also during the off peak period and although thefoodwas yum the experience itself was terrible. the seating is madness and cramped and in no way accommodates for kids or a pram so if you have either i wouldn't suggest it. to add on to it, the restaurant is situated alongside a really busy road so you on your nerves the entire time if your child so much as moves from your side. apart from that it was ridiculously hot in the restaurant and the owners in no way felt the need to cool it down. the service was really quite slow and the kitchen seemed more interested in getting take away meals out rather than focusing on present customers. also the owners were extremely cold to the extent that you felt like you were invading their space. thefoodthough was good and beautifully seasoned and portioned. i had the twelve prawns and they were enjoyable as well as a good size. i would probably advise people to have a take away meal rather than a sit down at this particular joint.

even though thefoodis good, i try to avoid this place because every single time they either get my order wrong or they add to my order. today, i ordered a pizza panne and 6 kebab and a coimbra chicken but i got a pizza panne and 12 kebabs, coimbra chicken, aloo cheese paratha, 3 x plain naan (but was charged for 3 x garlic naan). this will be the last time i eat from this restaurant. such a put off and so frustrating!! always check your slips before you leave this place!!

we made a reservation for 20 people. squeezed together at a little table. foodtook extremely long and staff seemed lost most of the team. foodwas average.

we had the al agra chicken, which was succulent and full of flavour we never ended up having the complimentary sauces with the chicken since the flavours were good enough. the chicken was also clean and of a good quality. we also had a portion of chips and a garlic naan. the naan was a bit stale. when you go to a restaurant, you expect fresh food. that was the only unfortunate experience, otherwise the service was friendly and we got ourfoodquite fast.

i will definitely like to return and try some of the other flavour chickens.

was really looking foward to dining here after hearing about the address from friends. we booked a table for 20 on new years eve.... it was a full house so we waited a while for ourfoodbut considering how packed they were it's understandable.
i didn't catch his name but the man who was in front (owner or manager) really took control of the establishment and ensured personally that each table was served and seen to. he showed so much courtesy toward my big, loud family and i genuinely appreciated the standard of service he showed us regardless of how busy they were.

we ordered 2 platters with saucy chicken, prawns, steak, chips, kebabs and creamy chicken boti. also pepper steaks with mushroom on the side. all really really nice and prepared well. my favourite dish was the pizza pane and kebabs, will definitely order more of that next time.
would love to pop in again at a quieter time and try more off the menu.

thefoodwas mediocre and nothing to rave about. very small portions which consisted of 3 small pieces of chicken classified as half a chicken despite being told by the owner that the servings are significant. very littlefoodand overly priced. a total "rip off".
not a place i would recommend to anyone. will be the only time and the last i'd ever dine at the address. 😠👎

previously known as talk of the town in central durban. options recommended by the owner. superb taste and great service. we visited with a party of 10 kids included. started with the aloo paratha with cheese which was like a potato pizza. then had a platter of prawns and the family platter which had steak,kebabs,2 full chickens,boti chick3rn pieces and chips. more than sufficient and we had leftovers. finished the meal with masala tea and cuppacinos. vibe was busy . its a small place so i suggest you arrive early or make a booking. we waited less than 20 mins for the starters and thefoodarrived shortly after. tastes were spicy but not hot. tasteful. will definitely be back . prices are reasonable. not cheap.

had a pizza pane (like a focaccia with a bit of masala sprinkled on top) which was quite nice and the prawn starter which was tempura prawns with a spicy sauce. can't really complain about thefoodbut there is a bit of a grungy vibe about the place. don't expect to get cappuccinos or other coffees here although you can order masala tea and five roses if you feel like a hot beverage. the place is also halaal-friendly.
