thai sawatdee

loved the food @ robinhood village!!!!. tried it for the first time this week and went back the next day for take out! this is at their newestlocation(intersection of robinhood & meadowlark)....i have never eaten at the other 2 locations, always heard good things about them....but i am glad they have opened this one closer to me! we ate there on a friday night..... my husband got a beef stir fry and i got a chicken noodle dish. both very fresh ingredients and good flavor. i like mine hotter, so they brought out some condiments so i could heat it up to my liking. the next night i was in the area again and picked up some green curry with chicken...delicious. it's a beautiful restaurant ....unfortunately the last several restaurants in this space have not lasted.....i sure hope this one does!

our favorite for over a decade. we lived in ardmore 2001-2006 and became addicted to their food, so we were thrilled to find it still going strong when we returned in 2012. my favorite is the tom yum soup (spicy) and a close 2nd is the yellow curry; my husband loves the red curry and the spring rolls. the other dishes i've tried are also very good. our friends love the green papaya salad (som tum?) which is next on my list to try. we have even discussed having a sawatdee take-out dinner party so we can try everyone else's favorites! by the way, those who criticize the ambience of the cloverdalelocationfor being inside ht should check out the healylocation- same food in a nice restaurant.

what happened?. this place has great food! i've eaten here for years - usually at harris teeter for take out. however, last week, visited the healy drivelocationand ordered take out.

upon getting home and opening the styrofoam box, i was kind of shocked. the large section of the box was only filled halfway with my pad thai.
same price, same item but half the portion size usually received.
not sure what happened? but there was hardly any food there for $10. scared to go back.

love this place!!!. the healy dr.locationis much better than the harris teeter location. i have never had anything from this restaurant that was not delicious. the staff is amazing and sincerely friendly. in my opinion this is one of the best thai places i have been. trust me you will not regret a trip to this wonderful spot.

i went to thelocationat harris teeter. i loved the pad thai, sooo good. lunch specials are priced well, but i ordered the thai basil mild and it was still really spicy, but tasty.

amazing. if you have been turned off by theirlocationin the grocery store, then i suggest you go to theirlocationon healy drive. i have been to both many times and i have never had a bad, or even mediocre meal. i have had thai food all over the country and spent 5 years in thailand..this is the best thai food i have had in the united states. if thelocationor their more than perfect sanitation grade turns you off, excellent means more for me :)

love this place. out of all the things i've tried at thai sawatdee, i love their coconut soup (tom kha) and their pad woonsen. don't let thelocationturn you away. this place is great!

don't be discouraged by the location. while thai sawatdee does suffer the unfortunatelocationof being inside a grocery store, they do have a neat little nook and make up for it with really great food. definitely the best phad thai in town!
