absolutely banging every time. i've had better thai but this place is a defiant top ten. conveniently located in the harris teeter makes it perfect for quick take-out.

please don't let this place fool you!!! i was sceptical because i didn't think a restaurant inside of a grocery store could be good but this is hands down the best thai food in winston salem!!! my boyfriend eats anything but i am a strict vegetarian. we can both eat here and have plenty of options and both leave very full and happy!! this place is a must for any thai food lover! try it!

amazing food. this place has amazing food. there are two locations, one in harris teeter and one within a shopping center. either place is consistently awesome.

believe the hype. sure, it's odd that you're eating really awesome-quality thai food inside a harris teeter.
but it is worth every penny. the food is amazing, and cheaper than just about any other thai cuisine you can get in the city. the plus side is after you eat, you can shop around the store without doing so on an empty stomach.
the beef red curry was very flavorful with an ample amount of peppers and meat. this is a place i will be frequenting.

delicious.. it is probably best to just get the take out, but the food is seriously so delicious. the curry is full of the most amazing flavor and even the pad thai is probably the best i've had anywhere in town.

did not like it at all. atmosphere was musty and awkward. the waitress kept apologizing but we didn't know why... we didn't complain about anything and she didn't do anything wrong. we got the pad thai and duck confit. i thought they were both bad. not trying to be super negative. i just expected to be blown away based on the rating and reviews. i don't care to go back.

loved the food @ robinhood village!!!!. tried it for the first time this week and went back the next day for take out! this is at their newest location (intersection of robinhood & meadowlark)....i have never eaten at the other 2 locations, always heard good things about them....but i am glad they have opened this one closer to me! we ate there on a friday night..... my husband got a beef stir fry and i got a chicken noodle dish. both very fresh ingredients and good flavor. i like mine hotter, so they brought out some condiments so i could heat it up to my liking. the next night i was in the area again and picked up some green curry with chicken...delicious. it's a beautiful restaurant ....unfortunately the last several restaurants in this space have not lasted.....i sure hope this one does!

great chicken wonton soup. order this soup. it is a winner. you will love it. great comfort food if you are under the weather or anytime. i've only tried it at the harris teeter location, and do not know if they serve the same soup on healy drive.

awful!. overpriced, overcooked and under-spiced. i swear the food was recycled from a day old and bad chinese carry out order. basil rolls had tough wrappers,(these were supposed to be the fresh type, not fried) overcooked shrimp, regular old spaghetti(in lieu of glass noodles) and was mostly shredded iceberg lettuce. fried spring rolls tasted like bad chinese egg rolls wrapped in cardboard. that was just what i even tried to eat as the basil and tofu vegetable dish was reeking of ammonia and stale grease. stay away, not any semblance to what thai food should be.

impressed. i had no idea it would be this good. i just had the penang curry and it's amazing. i've been to a lot of thai places around here and this might be the best dish i've had yet. who would have thought this would be in a harris teeter grocery store? sooooo good. a friend recommended this place to me when i expressed my unhappiness with the asian restaurant selections here in winston (for some reason they are all in greensboro). will definitely be going back often especially since it's within walking distance of me. :d

our favorite for over a decade. we lived in ardmore 2001-2006 and became addicted to their food, so we were thrilled to find it still going strong when we returned in 2012. my favorite is the tom yum soup (spicy) and a close 2nd is the yellow curry; my husband loves the red curry and the spring rolls. the other dishes i've tried are also very good. our friends love the green papaya salad (som tum?) which is next on my list to try. we have even discussed having a sawatdee take-out dinner party so we can try everyone else's favorites! by the way, those who criticize the ambience of the cloverdale location for being inside ht should check out the healy location - same food in a nice restaurant.

best thai in ws. i have been coming to this unassuming thai restaurant tucked away inside harris teeter since it opened about 5 years ago, and i have been blown away by every single meal i've eaten from sawadee. granted, i tend to stick to curries and pad thai, because they do it so well that i've rarely had reason to stray. spicy, flavorful, lots of coconut milk and lime, and their tofu is more like seitan and soaks up the flavors beautifully. their shrimp are large and fresh too. sawadee: highly recommended, as you'll be able to tell by the lines at peak lunch and dinner times.

what happened?. this place has great food! i've eaten here for years - usually at harris teeter for take out. however, last week, visited the healy drive location and ordered take out.

upon getting home and opening the styrofoam box, i was kind of shocked. the large section of the box was only filled halfway with my pad thai.
same price, same item but half the portion size usually received.
not sure what happened? but there was hardly any food there for $10. scared to go back.
