i came here for lunch on a friday to meet up with my wife. we were seated promptly and our order was taken quickly. we both had the padthaiwith soup. i thought the food was pretty good, and i had no issues with it. the only downside to our experience was that the waitress was running around so hectic that we got no smile; she took our order, delivered our food, and no more. i would probably come back here if in the mood forthaifood.

worstthaiin buffalo. really awful experience. they completely messed up my take-out order up then refused to give any discount other than 10% which didn't even cover the cost of the food they neglected to send me!

and then i tried the food, and it was terrible. the vegetables were soggy and old, the sauce is bland and the chicken of very poor quality.

avoid this place at all costs...

sweet. way too sweet.. we have manythairestaurant choices where i live in california. over the years i have probably eaten in more than a hundred of them here and abroad, though admittedly not in thailand. i took my family to thethaiorchid and was terribly disappointed in the food. it is so sweet that it bears no resemblance to anythaifood that i have ever had anywhere. the tom kha soup was the right consistency and flavor except for the overriding sweetness. the beef salad was close to what i am used to except for the fact that it is (slightly) less spicy and much sweeter than i have found everywhere else. we had two curries: penang and something else that was forgettable. both were so sweet as to be unrecognizable. i am planning another trip to western new york and a visit to athairestaurant there soon. it definitely will not bethaiorchid.

i'll be back. i read the reviews before coming to this place and all the (excellent) ones were spot on! this was my first time tryingthaifood. i had the duck something or other, while my sister had pineapple seafood curry. both of us loved it there. the ambiance was lovely (real flowers!) and the food/service was great! definitely recommend.

this is my favorite place to go forthaifood in buffalo. the food is always so fresh and the service is excellent. my girlfriend and i go tothaiorchid at least once a week and we always enjoy ourselves.

thai orchid is very very clean and cheerful place to dine. no liquor license yet but , you can bring your own wine and there is no corking fee etc.

fabulous!. i love this restaurant. i've been exploring the menu and have become a regular since i work just up the road. oh my goodness! everything has been delicious. this week i had the tom yum soup and the cold spicy shrimp salad. drooling just thinking about it. the padthaiis a favorite of my family's. yum. the bestthaiin buffalo - thoughthaihouse does compete :)
