thai orchid

sweet. way too sweet.. we have many thai restaurant choices where i live in california. over the years i have probably eaten in more than a hundred of them here and abroad, though admittedly not in thailand. i took my family to the thaiorchidand was terribly disappointed in the food. it is so sweet that it bears no resemblance to any thai food that i have ever had anywhere. the tom kha soup was the right consistency and flavor except for the overriding sweetness. the beef salad was close to what i am used to except for the fact that it is (slightly) less spicy and much sweeter than i have found everywhere else. we had two curries: penang and something else that was forgettable. both were so sweet as to be unrecognizable. i am planning another trip to western new york and a visit to a thai restaurant there soon. it definitely will not be thai orchid.

this is my favorite place to go for thai food in buffalo. the food is always so fresh and the service is excellent. my girlfriend and i go to thaiorchidat least once a week and we always enjoy ourselves.

all positive. good food, good flavor, quick and price reasonable.

love thai orchid. my family loves thai orchid. we have eaten here many, many times. always friendly and very competent service. the food is delicious . there are vegetarian entrees which is always a plus. highly recommended !!
thaiorchidis very very clean and cheerful place to dine. no liquor license yet but , you can bring your own wine and there is no corking fee etc.

best thai in buffalo area. highlights: pad thai with tom yum kung is probably the best lunch available in buffalo (only $6.95) amidst lovelyorchidplants : )
