it's the most authentic thai cuisine restaurant you can visit in bengaluru. period! good ambience, highly courteous staffs, delicious starters, main course, drinks and desserts. the raw mango salad is the best in town. many thanks to the owner, mr ravi, who took really good care of us. it is a must visit place withgreatpositive vibe!!!

best thai i've had in toronto! and even better is the price! the curry dishes are my favorite, lunch specialsgreatdeal, and the pad thai is good too! spring rolls are yum!

warm and friendly withgreatthai food.. we have eaten at thai basil by amy many times but never thought to give it a review... it's great! portions are just right to large. that aside, everything is delicious and very nicely presented. we'll be back.

usually this place is pretty reliable in a few ways
- quick service so perfect for a set lunch hour
-greatlunch options and a variety of menu items to choose from
- delicious food

sadly today they did not win marks for food. ordered the beef with broccoli lunch special and did not get something yummy. instead got over done, chewy, bland beef. sent it back and got tofu pad thai instead. (i skipped the meat because at the same meal my friend ordered the shrimp pad thai and the shrimp tasted bad - like you could tell they were from frozen. )

if it weren't for today i would have rated this place a 4 but the really poor execution of pretty standard thai offerings has me back peddling

if you do come here for lunch chicken pad thai has been delicious the few times i've had it.

every time i go to a new thai restaurant, i order one of three things: red curry, green curry or pad thai. those are staple thai dishes and honestly, the quality of any of those three is very telling of the restaurant’s overall detail to food. i ordered the thai red curry with chicken . it was a red curry cooked with stripped bamboo shoots, thai eggplants, red pepper, basil leaves, coconut milk and chicken. as for taste, it wasgreatand as good as any thai places i’ve tried before. i would definitely recommend this restaurant for their food in that you won’t be disappointed. however, i do have some small concerns about their presentation of the food.

great for tasty thai food. their thai basil eggplants & minced pork is unique and delicious!greatplace to sit and eat. very small, clean and well set up. located downtown close to a subway station. they also home deliver after lunch hours which is great.

this is by far the most consistent and best thai food i’ve eaten in toronto, and one of the only where
i’ve found reallygreatsom tam. they have a contemporary but warm and welcoming interior. they  also deliver within the downtown core of the gta, which is a really nice thing at the end of a work week.  it’s hard to delineate from our season favourites, of panang curry and thai basil chili eggplant, but we  always make a point to try something new, and have never been disappointed. as a side note, they
have one of the best lunch deals in town, with more food than you can eat for nine dollars.

amazing food. every vist here is a pleasure. the food is amazing and the owner takesgreatpride in her cooking. we especially love the lemongrass curry, not available anywhere else- the taste is unbelievably good- you must try this.
she told us she grows the lemongrass in her garden. everything tastes so fresh.

great thai. the food is prepared fresh with high quality ingredients. it's a warm, cozy place and amy is agreathost. everyone we've taken there or sent there just loves it and keeps going back. a must try :-)

you have to try it, everything is made fresh and the owner takesgreatpride in her work. she is truly passionate about food and eating pleasure.

tasty, affordable, beautiful. for all the curry lovers out there, try the curry duck. i'm a curry addict, and all the curries at thai basil aregreatbut the duck one is my ultimate favourite. there's grapes and pineapple in it and the duck meat is extremely tender.

beautiful decor,greatservice and wide variety. as the title suggests, the servce, variety and decor were all excellent. however, the pad thai was a disappointment as it was too sweet and the spring roll was not very tasty either. the soup that came with the lunch special was tom yum soup and it was of average quality, i would go again, but would definitely try one of the other options on the menu.

this is excellent. it's no wonder 90% voted they "like" this place. on a recent 4 busy days in toronto, linda and i went here twice ... it was that good! yes, it's now one of my favorites. without details (you can figure out what you like), we had 4 different dishes between us on 2 days, at different times of day (lunch and dinner), and both of us tasted all four. excellent. this is thai as it should be, imo. service was good, even though it was busy, busy. it's in agreatpart of town that's so diverse, and has so many new small and independent restaurants. yup, i'll be back on my next toronto trip.
