good pizza good service. i eat lunch there this past week and was very happy with thefoodand service. i would feel comfortable recommending this place to someone.

this is my new favorite italian restaurant! it is small, intimate (albeit a little chaotic/festive), and charming. with many of the patrons speaking italian, i feel like this is authentic italian fare (that and the taste of thefoodis authentic). i feel like i am in an italian home kitchen where i have been invited for dinner. there is a typical 20 minutes wait here because folks in the surrounding area know this is the best italian!

thefoodis on par with carrabas but the prices are slightly lower. the lunch portions are the best deal but get here early as there is limited seating. it ha a very cozy atmosphere and is the best restaurant in this strip.

we ventured out to this restaurant based on a recent review from the orlando sentinelfoodcritic, who gave it 3 out of 4 stars, which she rarely gives restaurants much over a 2. we waited only about 10 minutes for a table ( the place is very small) . the staff and owner were very attentive. we ordered the halibut with asparagus and fettucini and veal parmesan. added on 2 salads and was brought over a nice basket of bread with an oil and balsamic vinegar dipping sauce. the halibut was very good, however a little pricey @ $25.95. the veal was good also, but the sauce was boring as if from a can. my wife makes homemade tomato sauce as well as vodka cream sauce. she always compares hers to theirs at any place we go. she mentioned that the only 2 places we have found with good marinara sauce in the 3 years we have lived in central florida are: pannulo's in winter park, and goodfella's in debary. for some reason, italian restaurants down here seem to tend to " dumb down" the sauce so to speak. other than that, the meals were great and i would recommend it . mabbe next time we will try the " brick oven" pizza !!

we walked in and were greeted by no one. i made eye contact with three people--nothing. finally a waiter comes over and said hello. we were seated and the first thing i noticed wasfoodsplatter all over the wall. we should have left then. $6 house salad was a handful of lettuce and a sliver of tomato. i ordered the carbonara without scallions and i could hear the chef say it didn't have scallions?! the waiter had to show him the menu so i assume he didn't realize scallions are green onions. the bread was chewy... olive oil saved it...surprised we weren't ask if we
wanted more. pasta was good but nothing like what i've eaten at marco dino's in sanford. was this just an off night?

excellentfoodand service. i just moved from texas and have been staying in the westin across the street while waiting on our house to be finished. i eat there 2 or 3 times a week. thefoodis great but the smiling faces on the staff just makes you feel good. the chefs add their own touch to the atmosphere too, great place! love it! ronnie (toyota)

salar. the advantages of travelling without a roadmap or gps!!!! we were lost, hungry, tired and frustrated with the lack of adequate road signage in this state. found heathrow and this wonderful restaurant!!!!

atmosphere good,foodwas devine. the pizza's were the best we have ever eaten, the staff was at tentative and accommodating and we both agreed that we just may have to get lost again and find this place....it was that good!!!! the freshness of the ingredients was evident and the pride in their craft even more so. thank you for a wonderful meal.

i had the 10" pizza for lunch. thefoodwas great and price was not bad for lunch. i will be going back ! great place!

a little overrated. i have been wanting to try this place for some time now. with all of the great reviews i was very optimistic.
unfortunately, i was let down.
this place is bustling. nice atmosphere and you can tell it is frequented by the local heathrow crowd. this is a tiny restaurant, so when more than twenty people show up it looks like a huge crowd.
service was welcoming and friendly. however, we felt like the host was hovering over our table (waiting for us to leave to seat the next party, perhaps?)
food was average at best. brick oven pizza 13" was almost flavorless and the crust was very thin, which would be a good thing if it wasn't soggy. chicken parm was good but not highly memorable. bread was ok but a little too chewy. the best part of the meal was the olive oil dip for the bread. that was delicious! calamari was good too but just ok. can get the same thing at any decent pizza place.

the prices were very reasonable.
terra mia has definitely capture the hometown feel so i can see why people like it. but for me thefoodwas not memorable and i will probably stick with my local pizza place for when i'm craving pizza and italian food.

bad experience. jan. 15th visited the heathrow restuarant. as i was seated the waiter asked me if i care for a drink, i ordered a glass of wine. i asked what the speciaql was he said ossobuco, i said in will have that. after a few minutes he brought thefoodand it was not ossobuco. the waiter said it came from the the cut, i told him not to say anymore it was not what i had ordered. i told him that that i ate finer restuarants than this and i know what ossobuco and beef and lamb shanks are. he just turned away and went to talk with his friends. i think they need to train the wait staff of thefoodor even the chefs.

unbelievably good!. i am always looking for great italian restaurants and growing up with a big italian family i am extremely picky about it. i work close to the restaurant and have passed by hundreds of times before i finally went in. i was amazed at what a cool little spot this is. the cooks speaking in italian felt like a movie and thefoodwas fantastic. i get the specials often and they are always great. a lot of good authentic picks off the menu as well. the sauce is awesome! and for lunch, you can't beat the meatball panini. the best.

great food!. service is always lacking here, a bunch of kids working for them which really sucks because thefoodis amazing! i love thefoodhere, definietly worth a try if you have not been here, just dont expect the best service.

one of the best meals while in florida.foodand service excellent, drove 45 minutes and will do it again.

great food. my husband and i love thefoodand service is amazing and the drinks are made right! this is a must see!

need to also add what an ecellent value this was...5 meals, 2 salads, dessert and two sodas for $80. very reasonably priced for how excellent thefoodwas.

happened upon this place by accident , and read the reviews so we decided to give them a try. it was a thu night and the place was packed. although there are not a ton of tables we only waited about 20 min. so worth the wait. let me start off with the salad dressing being delicious and a great balance of vinegar and oil. probably some of the best pizza i have ever had. the thin crust was so flavorful it held its own against the toppings which were top notch themselves. i wish i lived closer to be able to enjoy thefoodagain. i will also add that the service was very friendly and prompt. great job terra mia.
