insanely good! my family of 10* occupied one whole grill to ourselves. chef josh was accomodating and entertaining! if it’s your first time dining in teppanya, i suggest ordering the salmon sashimi, usukayi beef roll, brazilian tenderlion, and angus belly aburi.

sashimi was fresh, karaage had just the right amount of gingeryness, tenderloin made us forget our names, usuyaki beef roll was comforting and filling.

nothing was subpar, dinner was a delight.

if you can, bring your own bottle or flask and fill it since they don’t offer service water, you can order 500ml bottle of summit/wilkins from them but yeesh, it’s ₱75 per bottle 😬

*all vaccinated+boosted, practiced safe dining, put on our masks right after we were done eating

one of the best japanese restaurants in the south. you will go here for the experience of good food and excellent service. the wagyu beef was very flavorful and cooked perfectly, your tastebuds will be in a bliss with every mouthful. a dinner is not complete without a serving of delish desserts, i decided to order the creme brûlée (my favorite) and it never disappointed my standard, it had the right mix of creaminess and sweetness. i feel that the price is just right for the quality of food and service they provide. i will definitely go back.

teppanya is one of the best place for teppanyaki  in the south and in the whole metro manila.
enjoyment of watching the chef's cook in front of you, not only that it satisfy your craving but it also feeds your visual + instagram feed.

rated 5 for
:ambiance
:friendly and accommodating staff and teppanyaki chef.
:food is sooo nice

we ordered for starters

california maki (really fills up my tummy before going into maincourse)
gyoza

mains we had:
prawns
salmon
beef-flambé

pork-didn't like it that much

we also ordered the set where you'll choose your soup, side and rice

food was good. service unfortunately was poor. we ordered their course meal which was served in no particular order. we kept on following up the salad and the soup (which was eventually served near the end of meal, right before dessert). and we were informed again near the end of our meal that the tuna sashimi we ordered was not available. had i also not checked, the unserved sashimi was reflected in the bill. definitely not coming back.

the food was amazing. the chefs were not merely cooking your food but were also performing tricks for entertainment. the only problem was that the waiters were not able to keep track of the orders they have served already. you should also expect to attract a little scent of the smoke and i would highly advise that you keep your children from being unruly as the chefs do play with big fire.

when it comes to the price, they are reasonable and worth the food and experience.

add (oct 13 2018):
my first visit was extremely busy for the restaurant. now on my 2nd visit, i can gauge the skills of the servers. their chefs were highly accommodating but their servers require more training. there was no one waiting at the door and when we were seated, we weren't given a menu immediately.

their menus are also bulky. in fact, they serve you 3 menus: main meal, sushi and drinks. it was weird since they had korean in their menu.

i'm lowering the rating from 4 to 3.

rated 4.5/5 they surely know the word entertainment. whenever we want a japanese fix, this is a go to place. i suggest that you take the set which cost about 350 to 400, which includes your choice on the category from appetizer to dessert. you can also add various assortments from different types of steaks and sea foods and even korean food. the fun part is, they will cook it right in front of you, which makes sense; a teppanyaki show! they make awesome makis too.

been wondering what all the fuss was about so i took the kids for dinner last weekend. no regular tables here. each patron is given the privilege to watch his dinner cooked right there. good thing we arrived early. a few minutes later and we would've been on the wait list. we had salmon tataki- lightly torched salmon roll with scallions and yuzu sauce. yummy with just the right amount of kick. perfect thing to start our meal with; chicken terriyaki- a staple for my kids. serving size did not make me happy but tastewise, this was good; uzuyaki beef- paper thin strips of beef wrapped around enoki mushrooms , topped with crispy garlic slivers. melts in your mouth! salmon tempura roll- we've had better; tempura- not anything to write home about; chadolbaegi- beef belly grilled the korean way, served with assorted side dishes. their kimchi is delicious, by the way. it was fun to watch the teppan chefs trying to outdo each other while preparing our gastronomical treats. prices are alright on the average, but watch out! one may get too caught up in the chefs' magic and end up ordering more than usual. great place! definitely up there in my book, along with mama lou's😊👍

eating at this place has been one of those memorable culinary-adventures -kind-of-stuff for me. maybe because we were so used to fastfood and eating shit that i forgot how enticing and awesome it is to watch your food being prepared graciously before your eyes before being served.
well that's what they do here, especially if you order their set meals. though it can be a little bit pricey, but the gastronomical adventure you're about to take part into is priceless nonetheless. so just shut up and let them take your money lol.

we ordered their deluxe set, that's good for 6pax, but we were 11 hungry people so we made that two, plus we ordered quite a lot of appetizers that when the main entree was served i was stuffed beyond my recognition and all i could do was stare at the wall. the deluxe set has already a fixed inclusion of their premium 5 course starter set, and that alone is enough to get you full. the chef will explain every meal he's about to prepare before execution. he'll even remind you to take out your phones for those instagram-worthy shots!

for appetizers, i suggest you try their makimonos since they already come in 8pcs. the yakisoba is good too!

for dessert, just skip the mixed fruit coz it's just basically sliced fruits on top of ice, no milk or whatsoever. go for their créme brulee or their banana flambé. those two are something to remember!

also before i forget, they have a superb staff! our waiter remembered all our orders in one go and we were eleven!

will surely be back soon!

been used eating at fast food because i feel like fancy restos just steal my money. but this resto is an exception. watching your food being prepared right before your eyes is fun and eating them is...well, more fun!

we ordered the deluxe set with 5 course and its really nice for the chef to explain the food he is serving. plus, the waiter is very attentive.

try the creme brulee. its awesome!

☑️ good food
☑️ great customer service
☑️ nice ambiance

really worth it! ❤️

the squid is the best! i would have rated 5/5 stars if it weren’t for the inattentive server we had. we had to follow up our orders for a couple of times before he’d actually serve them.

i chanced upon this restaurant at a friend's post in a social networking site. we were in evia so i asked for details and voila, hello teppanya. boy, were we in a pleasant surprise. this has to be the best steak in the south for me. ordered the usda prime ribeye, medium rare. they cooked the steak in front of us and it was quite a show. apparently, the best is yet to come.

the steak was cooked to perfection, flambe style. one bite and i was already hooked. try it with wasabe, salt and the craftly designed pepper powder and you'll be transported to gastronomic heaven. the garlic flakes was a great addition as added flavor and variety.

my family had their own orders but i was simply mesmerized with my own plate. hahahaha. and oh, each and every dish we ordered were delish! all of us left with fully satisfied bellies and ear to ear smiles.

customer service was top notch. each and every staff there greeted us with a smile and were very attentive. no need to call the attention to the waiters to fill our glasses with ice water or answer to any inquiry. it had a friendly family atmosphere and we felt completely at home. kudos to the management and staff for a job excellently done.

this is now my favorite steak restaurant. see you again and again and again and again, etc. etc. etc.

food was really good and reasonably priced. i would love to go back but staff wasn't as friendly compared to my experience at kimpura. we were literally running after them to take our orders and requests. quite disappointed with the dining experience good thing the food was really good. i hope they improve their service to their customers.

my family and i love this place! food was good, servers are attentive and the chef performers are simply awesome! we’ve been coming back to this place to celebrate birthdays and school milestones and my kids love it!

i especially love the japanese oysters and prawns— paired with the fried rice — oohlala! not a meat eater anymore but my mom and son both loved the steak— saying it was both tender and very flavourful!

come not just for your hunger but also for the entertainment in store— always a winner!
