wowie wow wow. what a pleasant surprise! some friends had tried it and suggested we go there for dinner. i loved it. salsa and chips were so good and obviously homemade. pico was hot! (woot!) i had thetacorico plate - was so yummy.

place was very clean & service was fast.

this is a place to try for authentic mexican for the adventureous and also perfect for those who are more confortable with the old stand-bys. go try it!

excellent. food is excellent. their soft tacos are delicous and only $1.30 each, 3 fills me up easily since each onetacohas two tortillas. they close pretty early, around 8:30pm on friday nights. large selection of meat choices and their salsa is spicey but oh so good - i easily go through 4 glasses of water eating their salsa. one of the most authentic and best mexican restaurants around.

i called in an order to go.  combination #1.  shredded beeftacoand enchilada.  the online menu and the representative who took my order confirmed that it is served with rice and beans!  i did not check my meal before leaving the drive in window!  there were no beans!  double rice. maybe my order got mixed up with someone else's, makes no difference it was very disappointing!  evidently the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, because they both had rice in them!  food wasn't anything that fantastic, so i can honestly say, i will not be going back.

wonderful place for authentic mexican dishes.  portions are very generous and chips & salsa are provided gratis.  i typically go there for lunch and the dining area is so small that you need to get there early (or after the lunch rush) to get a seat.  i've had to wait several times for a place to sit while my order waited on me.  thetacorico plate is amazing and a favorite is the three-taco special with carne asada.  bonus: they have mexican cokes made with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.

when i went at lunch on a thursday the place was packed so i knew it was going to be good. you order at the counter and they bring it to your table and with chips and salsa. service is fast. only downside is the place gets packed quickly and it can be hard to get a table as the place isn't very big.

i had thetacorico plate. the rice was a bit buttery and fluffy. the beans were very well done. you can tell done of the food has been sitting under a heat lamp or in a heating tray in the kitchen.

oh! this place has simply become better over the last few years. great service, delicious authentically mexican dishes.

taco don nacho. clean, one room dining room, very friendly staff, terrific menu. family owned, gustavo is the owner and works the counter and he's always smiling. and he should be - his place has been busy busy every day since he opened last year. truly authentic mexican dishes, and a plethora to choose from. i love thetacorico plate, and the sopas are just plain delicious. if you like menudo, drop in on a saturday morning - you know menudo is great for hangovers, right? this is a veritable jewel in the restaurant-barren desert of south council road.

cheaptacohut charging expensive prices. the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. i felt like it definitely wasn't worth what we paid for it. my tamale was dry and tasteless. mytacowas decent, the guacamole was okay. the staff was really nice, and the service was great, food just wasn't where it needed to be.

excellent mexican food. this place is a gem, very un-assuming from the outside, but the food that lies within is worth your attention. try thetacorico plate, its my go-to, but i've had almost everything on the menu and it's all been delicious.... never a single meal here that wasn't awesome.

love, love, love this place!. food is outstanding! i had the taco/enchilada combo. amazing! chips and dip are fresh and excellent. dip is a bit spicy - just the way i like it! just went saturday and planning a 2nd trip so i can try something else on the menu. a friend recommended thetacosalad and the shrimp cocktail... but everything looks delish!

california -mex. i read the reviews and couldn't wait to try it , and i'm so glad i did ! the folks that operate this clean, well appointed,tacoshop are very friendly and eager to answer any question you might have, which to okies, might be numerous if they have never traveled to southern california.
my wife and i used to go there frequently, so we were well versed in the menu items that are delicious, and the best part is you can go for breakfast, lunch,or
supper either one.
so far i have only made it to lunch, but i plan to remedy that soon as i love mexican breakfast items, my fav. type of breakfast, try this place you'll like it !

really liked this place. neighbor told me about this place and we tried it today. what a surprise. i came from new mexico, home of hatch green and red chili, and this is the best i have found in a sit down mexican food restaurant in okc. the salsa had some kick to it, chips were hot and thin, and food was great. sure, you can find more authentic in some of thetacotrucks around town but this was nice. will repeat and recommend.

so good!!! hadtacorico platter, and especial 3 tacos both were out of this world. very authentic! salsa is hot and delicious. chips are light and crunchy. wish i lived closer i would eat here all the time.

tasty food, service ok. i have eaten here on many occasions over the past 18 months. the food is always tasty (i like thetacorico plate), the salsa is excellent (you have to ask for the really hot one) but the service is hit or miss. it's almost always crowded and if you don't get what you need right away you probably won't get it at all. definitely worth checking out if you like your food spicy and hot.

best mexican in okc. if you're looking for authentic mexican food, tacos don nacho is the best place to get it in the okc metro area.the tacos (by default soft) are great. pretty much everyone i get to try the al pastor meat agrees it's the besttacomeat they've ever had. the prices are great; the food is great; the owner and employees are accommodating and very friendly. 5 out of 5
