wowie wow wow. what a pleasant surprise! some friends had tried it and suggested we go there for dinner. i loved it. salsa and chips were so good and obviously homemade. pico was hot! (woot!) i had the taco rico plate - was so yummy.

place was very clean & service was fast.

this is aplaceto try for authentic mexican for the adventureous and also perfect for those who are more confortable with the old stand-bys. go try it!

quality food at a great price. thisplaceoffers great value and is incredibly consistent. they have good menu variety as well. i have yet to have a bad meal from here, and i get it 1-3 times/week since it's pretty close to my job.

wonderfulplacefor authentic mexican dishes.  portions are very generous and chips & salsa are provided gratis.  i typically go there for lunch and the dining area is so small that you need to get there early (or after the lunch rush) to get a seat.  i've had to wait several times for aplaceto sit while my order waited on me.  the taco rico plate is amazing and a favorite is the three-taco special with carne asada.  bonus: they have mexican cokes made with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.

when i went at lunch on a thursday theplacewas packed so i knew it was going to be good. you order at the counter and they bring it to your table and with chips and salsa. service is fast. only downside is theplacegets packed quickly and it can be hard to get a table as theplaceisn't very big.

i had the taco rico plate. the rice was a bit buttery and fluffy. the beans were very well done. you can tell done of the food has been sitting under a heat lamp or in a heating tray in the kitchen.

great food for a great price... the beef carnitas or tacos are the best. everything is fresh & tastes good consistently when we visit. overall very goodplacefor the money although the location is out of the way unless you're already on the west side of okc

best west coast mexican food ever! and the onlyplacein town i know where you can buy horchata. try the wet burrito. it will put you in a coma!

great littleplaceon the sw side! located right in the middle of the industrial area on s. council, the restaurant is in a new, white, no-frills building. the restaurant is clean and staff are very friendly. youplaceyour order at the counter then find a table. staff will bring you drinks, chips and possibly the best salsa in okc. our order only took about 8-10 minutes to get to our table. food was great and plentiful! would definitely eat there again!

taco don nacho. clean, one room dining room, very friendly staff, terrific menu. family owned, gustavo is the owner and works the counter and he's always smiling. and he should be - hisplacehas been busy busy every day since he opened last year. truly authentic mexican dishes, and a plethora to choose from. i love the taco rico plate, and the sopas are just plain delicious. if you like menudo, drop in on a saturday morning - you know menudo is great for hangovers, right? this is a veritable jewel in the restaurant-barren desert of south council road.

excellent mexican food. thisplaceis a gem, very un-assuming from the outside, but the food that lies within is worth your attention. try the taco rico plate, its my go-to, but i've had almost everything on the menu and it's all been delicious.... never a single meal here that wasn't awesome.

simple. best mexican food i've had in the state. service is great and fast. prices are good. thank you for maintaining a greatplaceto eat. we used to live less than 5 miles away and would go all the time. now live 45+ miles away and still make the drive. thank you tdn.

california -mex. i read the reviews and couldn't wait to try it , and i'm so glad i did ! the folks that operate this clean, well appointed, taco shop are very friendly and eager to answer any question you might have, which to okies, might be numerous if they have never traveled to southern california.
my wife and i used to go there frequently, so we were well versed in the menu items that are delicious, and the best part is you can go for breakfast, lunch,or
supper either one.
so far i have only made it to lunch, but i plan to remedy that soon as i love mexican breakfast items, my fav. type of breakfast, try thisplaceyou'll like it !

my favorite. tacos don nacho is my go toplacefor mexican food. everything i have tried is excellent. their salsa, with distinct notes of cilantro, is my favorite of any restaurant around here; it's so good i don''t mind that they don't offer queso nor sopapillas. i recommend the chile rellenos. they are the best i have ever tried...filled with cheese and topped with verde sauce, these are normally just too hard to pass up. order the "chile relleno mexican plate" where you will get two chile rellenos as well as rice, beans, and tortillas. i also enjoy the beef soup, the tortas (al pastor), or the wet burrito (chile verde) plate.

in the words of dora the explorer's backpack-delicioso!!!. thisplacehas only been open for a lil' while. it's always packed and now i finally know why. it's totally authentic mexican home cooking. i'm from tulsa and there are tons of places that this joint reminds me of. i felt like i was back home. i had the especial 3 tacos with the shredded beef. it was exactly what i wanted! it satisfied 2 cravings for me, the craving for beef, and the craving for authentic mexican food. the service was fast and friendly and the price wasn't bad either. i will be telling people about this place. it's a true gem! and like a true gem it should be cherished. i will be back!! excellente!

i love it. moved here from la a few years ago and so far this is the best i've tried. back home we have a lot of good mexican restaurants. so i know what i'm talking about. well to find out theplaceoriginally comes from cali. so there you go..

decent food. this is close to my business off council so we thought we'd give it a try. lunch time is very busy and it takes quite a while to get ordered and sit down. the prices are about the same as other mexican choices in oklahoma city. the service is ok, it can be slow at times. the salsa is decent it has a kick to it but nothing spectacular. you do not get cheese sauce or tortillas without paying for them. it was good and we will eat there again but nothing out of this world, nor is it the best mexicanplacein oklahoma city. for a fast lunch it's a good choice, for a nice dinner i'd look around.
