tacos don nacho

absolutely the best!. our family meets here every saturday afternoon. this is absolutely the best mexican food in the okc area - maybe in all of oklahoma! we travel 30 miles one way to get there, so it must be good! this restaurant is always busy, staff is so friendly, restaurant is clean, and the food is the best i've had in oklahoma. i have lived in arizona and california and never had mexican food any better even in those states. my personal favorite is chicken tacos although everything i've had has been good. yes, the salsa is very spicy, but that's what salsa should be! after eating here, no other place compares. i just wish a tacos don nacho would be closer to edmond, but we will keep driving the 30 miles to get there in okc every saturday! our friends always ask if we are going to "amarillo" for lunch on saturdays, and we always tell them "yes" - of course!

best ever! we get take out every week. this is authentic mexican at a great price. awesome service!

very good. as i work very close, i have eaten here weekly for the past couple years since it opened. great menu. reasonably priced. ask for the salsa verde.

excellent, authentic mexican food. husband had the chicken caesar salad, just like what he has when in mexico. i tried several items, like them all but the chile relleno was my favorite. go, try this place, it's wonderful!

mystery meat. my co-workers had warned me about the "mystery meat" at this place. i forgot my lunch today, and after reading the positive reviews on urbanspoon ......i decided to be brave & try a chicken taco salad. i like to form my own opinions, but i have to say they were right! most of the problem was the chicken was dark meat. it was very messy with runny beans inside that just made it look like pig slop. i'm sorry, but that's the only picture that comes to mind. it didn't taste horrible, but i won't be getting this dish again. i'll probably go back & try a cheese enchilada. i hear they're good, and no mystery meat! :)

best mexican food in oklahoma. delicious. authentic. budget-friendly. we eat there at least once every couple of weeks. perfect for lunches and take-out available for dinner.

great tortas. probably my favorite tortas in the city. the al pastor is so delicious without being suer greasy. if you get the carne asada, it's a giant piece of beef. almost as big as a small person's face. it's kind of a weird location, but right down the street from us, so we love it.

surprisingly awesome. could use a little help with a more kid friendly menu. food and staff excellent.

oh ya!. ok first things first this place was suppose to be a taco tic but the building it went broke. being a taco tic cult member i was sad when they didn't open. after avoiding this place for the last few years i finally stopped by and tried it all i have to say is this place will be here a long time. they have a great thing going very clean great staff and perfect food. oh by the way if you don't like it hot maybe you should go to taco mayo. good job taco don nacho!

we love this place!. this is the only authentic mexican restaurant in okc. the food is absolutely wonderful. i read reviews that complain the food is "too spicy" and so they rate it poorly. i hate to break to to everyone but real mexican food is spicy, just like the food i grew up on. the taco rico place is by far my favorite but for all you out there that enjoy an excellent bowl of menudo, you absolutely must try this dish. but only on saturday and make sure you're early , it goes quickly.

dang i hate to be the only one. okay - i can't handle the heat of the salsa, or the food. the chips were fresh, but the salsa was several steps hotter than most restaurants. we had the taco rico plate, and the flautas combo. the taco rico could have been great, but the jalapeno slices overwhelmed the flavor . the flautas had very little chicken and the tortilla it was wrapped and fried in was doughy. they actually tasted more like a prepackaged product to me than those of other restaurants. the guacamole looked and tasted like it had sour cream in it to stretch the avocados used. the servers were good, and the place was new and clean, except for the toilet paper strewn around in the men's restroom.

i really expected a gem, and was disappointed. others will love the food, but i'm still feeling the burn three hours later.
