had an awesometimehere. i honestly don't remember the name of our waiter, but he has short hair, tattoos, and is a drummer in a band: he was the best, completely amazing, upbeat, and professional. the food is great and they provide a separate vegan menu (my main reason for loving this place so much) although their main menu is completely carnivore-friendly. recommend.

firsttime& loved it!. service was amazing. our server sara was very accommodating to us since it was our first time. made our experience so great, we'll be back. the taco selection was great. we tried 4 different tacos and loved all of them.

great food, not the best service. the food is great! it is worth going anytime you want a taco that isn't taco bell. the service is not that great. the "hipster" staff is not outgoing or fun. the seem too wrapped up in having a goodtimewith each other to care about their tables. improve the attitude of the service and more profit will come.

skinny margaritas & pico de gallo. enjoyed our skinny margaritas made with spenda last night. service was on the spot, not intrusive, but checked in every so often. for the firsttimewe ordered the pico de gallo instead of salsa with chips and that will be our staple at this busy edgehill mexican spot. patio was full and the sounds of people laughing and enjoying good times could be heard throughout the restaurant.

tries a little to hard to be different.... driving thru nashville and picked taco mamacitas bc of the good reviews without looking at the menu. a very 'cutesy' restaurant with an excellent atmosphere and quick friendly service. in my opinion they try a little too hard to be anything but original mexican as i would have known if i had looked at the menu. the food isn't bad but it isn't anything to write home about. too expensive for what you get. 7.99 for the guacamole is outrageous for the very small bowl you get that lacks flavor. nexttimethrough nashville i'll be trying something else.

eat the fish tacos!!. the fish tacos were really good! my friend also liked the taco royale. my husband hated his oy vay taco, but i think it was because he isn't a fan of brisket. (he'd never had it until then). the queso dip was really good, but i make better guacamole at home. it needed more lemon juice and salt, and there were massive chunks of avacado in it. i realize there should be some, but these were seriously big pieces--chip breaking pieces. we did order about twenty minutes before closingtimeso it's possible they just had to make enough for our order?? i was craving fish tacos, so even though some of the other items weren't fantastic, i was happy with the meal.

nashville location.... hmmm...i really wanted to love this place...especially after reading a fantastic review in the paper. after getting my fiance and kids together and trekking down to nashville (an hour from home) i was looking forward to a nice evening before he had to work a night shift. the area is great...we loved looking around at all the nifty little art studios nearby, but the wait...oh the wait....what was supposed to be 45 mins to an hour turned into well over an hour and a half. they did accomodate us by letting us order some chips and queso in the hall waiting area just out of the entrance, but we finished with that in no time. my fiance ended up having to leave for work after an hour knowing full well we wouldn't be done in time. after our hour and a half wait (everyone in the hall took notice of our chips and ordered there own! one other party of friends started leaving because they no longer believed the hostess would ever seat them...) long story short...the food was good...although the peruvian chicken i so anticipated was no longer available by thetimewe were seated (grrrr!) and while the tacos were good, they weren't the amazing examples of mexican food i thought they'd be. it did seem all the food was a bit spicier than i personally prefer, but not too spicy i couldn't enjoy it. the service was friendly and "ok"...it wasn't as prompt as i'd like though. all in all it's a good restaurant, but unfortunately, it wasn't/isn't worth an hour and a half wait. if you go...don't make plans til way after dinner...otherwise you'll be late.
