fun taco combinations, good service. great first experience! we had a very large group, and all the waitstaff was accommodating and helped use move long with our meal. we shared the appetizer trio of queso, salsa, and guac.... the guac had chunks of avocado which i love and it wasfreshtasting! i wish the chips had had some salt on them, but they were crunchy and not stale.

i had the caribbean jerk taco, pork carnitas taco, and the cilantro spinach rice. the jerk was taco was amazing, very flavorful, sweet and spicy like jerk should. sometimes jerk can be overwhelmingly spicy but the balance was great. the carnitas taco was good, but did not compare in flavor to the jerk. i like the carnita at local taco better. i also got to taste the pomegranite sangria, which was delightful and not too sweet. definitely will be back!

tacos tacos. good food and great service. good california taco and el camino was afreshmargarita. a little pricey but great atmosphere.

margaritas a little pricy but other than that i fully enjoyed my experience. great queso! unique andfreshtasting tacos!

still a fav spot. had the jamaican jerk taco with chicken and a mango salsa, and the oh voy brisket taco. both were good. didn't particularly care for the jalapeno/corn salsa. it needsfreshjalapeno and more corn to cut through the acidity of the slaw. was just slaw to me. server swapped it out for mexican corn off cob which is always fab!

a fantastic fusion twist on a street-food staple. flavorful queso with a kick. the tacos are very creative and dull of flavor. had the shrimp po'boy blt which had amazing shrimp and a nice spicy sauce. now the taco royale, thier double stacked taco that's a shell taco wrapped in a soft taco with chicken and bacon and fragrant cilantro was very different. the corn off the cob wasent anything spectacular but it was still good. would definitely recommend this place. mind you, this is not an authentic taco joint, it is a fusion restaurant. treat it as such, don't expect it to measure up to real street good like at taqueria express trucks.

awesomefreshand cheap. i had the cadillac margarita which was great. my husband has the taco royals and oy bet taco. i has the homeboy and oy vey. tacos were fantastic. side of mexican corn was great too. loved it!

five visits in two weeks. we've been in nashville for 2 weeks and have visited taco mamacita five times. it's a delightful place - clean, pleasantly decorated and with outstanding servers. the menu is short, but every item we have tried has been excellent. i've gotten the two tacos with side every time, trying something different each time, and have not been disappointed. the ingredients arefreshand homemade, with excellent salsas and guacamole. the tacos are very creative. my favorite is the vegetarian jerk - a sweet plantain surrounded by crunchyfreshcabbage complemented by peaches. the general homeboy is also outstanding. those who complain about high prices don't seem to appreciate that you have to pay more for reallyfreshingredients.

a great lunch spot with ample indoor and outdoor seating. the tacos, especially the royale, baja fish and jerk, arefreshand just enough to fill. my main complaint is that while tm has developed an impressive tequila list the beer offerings lack equal variety and quality. but i'm a beer snob.

felt like a sit-down chipotle/moes/q'doba.freshfood and good service, but baja burrito has better food for the money imo.

amazing!! i've been eating at taco mamacita since they first opened in chattanooga and can't get enough.freshtwist on tacos with excellent service. my favorites are the general homeboy and vegetarian jerk. best guac around! if you don't like it my guess is that you frequent places like mcdonalds or the olive garden and have no idea what good food tastes like. enjoy!!

great guacamole, b. u. t. !. this has to be some of the best guacamole that i have enjoyed in a long time, and the chips are spot on in texture, amount the of salt and freshness.
but i have got to say the sangria is pretty sad in flavor and presentation.
the jerk chicken taco with mango was very nice, and the fish taco was very sad as well and bland take a lesson from bahafreshon this one guys.
as far as the sides go, well i thought the sides should have been slid off the side of the table and left on the floor.
guys work on it or don't offer them.
when i went to pay for the meal i laid a $100.00 with the bill. someone i guess a manager or owner ran yes ran by, and grabbed the money and said he would get the change.
one i had never met this person before in my life or better yet they had never approached our table during the meal.
who was this person and how did i even know if they worked there? bad business move!
on a scale of 1 to 5 stars i'll give it a 2.
as far as the price it should have been around $35.00 at the most.
lets see if i had taken the same money $48.00 plus a $8.00 tip that equals $56.00 and went to bahafreshi could have had a meal for 4 and a six pack of great beer and possibly hired a small mariachi band to sing for our party.

absolutely impressed. my husband & i are both vegetarians, and we often scope out nashville restaurants to find ones that are vegetarian-friendly.

we have been seriously impressed by the staff of taco mamacita and their knowledge about what is and isn't vegetarian-friendly. all of the sides, except for the turnip greens & charros beans, are vegetarian, are vegetarian, and this restaurant is sofreshthat they're able to make almost any taco vegetarian upon request! this has been such a relief to know, because salads get boring after a while!!!

also, the guacamole is absolutely to die-for, as well as the roasted tomato salsa. i'm happy to pay $2.50 forfreshsalsa any day, rather than getting free salsa from a jar.

all-in-all, we love this restaurant. the food is fresh, the staff is friendly, and they're obviously working hard to adapt to the growing crowd at edgehill village mall.

definitely worth checking out!!! but don't expect a typical mexican restaurant, 'cause taco mamacita is so much more than that!

very good meal. tried this place today after reading the reviews. greatfreshguacamole, delicious turnip greens, and had two tacos: the royale and the fish. fish wasn't the best i've had but still very enjoyable. royale is a white flour tortilla wrapped around a blue corn tortilla with a bunch of stuff inside. had a good flavor. only complaint was the tea, which was an atrocity if it's always prepared like that. friendly server took it off my tab and offered great service. would return to try the peruvian chicken.

great experience. great service, super laid back atmosphere, fantastic drinks andfreshnon-greasy food! i took eight of my friends there tonight and they all loved it. it was a big hit for a monday evening after work. the seasonal mojitos were fabulous!

caliente server. hot asfreshbacon describes the server who brought our drinks. a couple dirty sanchez drinks are guaranteed to get you in the mood for anything! this weird drink is their signature drink and of course they have good margaritas and mexican beer. the nachos and gourmet texmex is pricey, but worth it. if you're gigging or recording on nearby music row it's ultra convenient for a bite of mexican, i promise.
