food quality at swagath has deteriorated a lot in the last 2 months. either the cook has changed or they have started taking the customers for granted. food quality has gone down considerably. ghazalrestaurantsector 17 is much much better choice now

very bad experience. they didn't deliver lemon chicken. instead something else was delivered. upon asking the swagatrestaurantsaid its not their fault its zomatos fault. u can see the difference in preparation.

wrong item delivered. upon taken up with therestauranttried to prove that item delivered neer dosa is appam . photo of item delivered and screen short of item ordered attached. very arrogant and disrespect attitude . instead of accepting mistake tried to make fool of customer.

well to begin with i would say that my overall experience at therestaurantwas mediocre. the food quality was nice but there were some vegetarian dishes where the improvements seemed necessary. the ambience is pretty pathetic and the seating arrangement is less and very congested. the service is satisfactory but there are too many waiters just standing and watching over the people doing nothing. the washrooms are dirty which i feel is completely undermining the current covid 19 regulations. last but not the least the prices of the dishes are unreasonably high. they are easily at par and even more than the restaurants of some 5/7 stars hotels. swagath as arestaurantshould try to keep the prices in check high time. the quantity of the food is less too, i would say.

this is a take away review for thisrestaurantand must i say that they failed almost on every point especially in this regard. the order even after being repeated twice that too standing right next to the reception still resulted in wrong order being packed and delivered to us that too in person. okay, therestaurantwas jam packed and okay the day could be christmas, still it doesn’t mean that they get to charge full price for wrong items haphazardly packed which you obviously can’t even double check at exit.

we ordered murgh nawabi tikka, kachumbar salad, bhuna gosht with roomali roti and butter rotis. the salad was wrongly packed as cucumber salad that too with the worst cucumbers one could find even though this was repeated twice during ordering!! the number of rotis were packed in wrong number too with more of butter roti than roomali roti though both are priced differently and none of this was informed to the paying customer!! we only could see it after reaching home and getting nothing but terribly disappointed!

one simple lesson, don’t order delivery or even take away since they have scant respect for customer’s trust and most importantly his money!! thisrestaurantis struck off my list forever in this regard!!

we ordered dinner takeaway from swagath last night comprising of chilli paneer,half boneless chicken,paneer lababdaar,dal makhani and for breads lal mirchi parontha,garlic naan,malabaari parontha.the food was good except the paneer lababdaar had minutes gravel (kankar) in them which were encountered on multiple bites.rest of the food was quite fantastic except the packaging seemed like the food came from a dhaba,there was oil dripping from the butter chicken and the paneer and it leaked from the container into the breads, though the breads were packed in foil paper but the entire unpacking process was quite hideous.a fine indianrestaurantsuch as swagath should pay a little more attention on its packaging in times when majority ofrestaurantfood is being delivered at home.

a fine diningrestaurantthat is reminiscent of the times when families used to go out for a dinner together. that is not to say that the place is old or ancient. that only means that it is arestaurantthat offers you a peaceful, dimly lit, personalized service. the food is well prepared, well presented and fulfilling. the portion sizes are though not as proportionate to the pricing, but nevertheless worth the entire experience one is getting.

i ordered paneer with malabari parantha and that is a meal for ages. just have one of those and go home and crash. sometimes one just needs to indulge in such pleasures of food that is simply mentally rewarding for allowing one to let the steam off. my vote for swagath if one needs to go for the option of traditional dine- in experience with family and/or friends.

this delhirestaurantchain has found a home in chandigarh, being the best south indianrestaurantin the city. they have an extensive menu filled with chinese, mughlai, and south indian food to choose from. i’ve tried quite a few things here, loving their hyderabadi biryani and malabar parottas. the chicken ghee roast is quite heavy (the sauce less oily than usual), but the chilis certainly shine. the mangalorian gassi pomfret had plenty of curry to soak up the fish as well. though thisrestaurantis quite pricy, it’s probably the closest you’ll find to authentic south indian food in chandigarh.

this place is the best if you want to get your food on time and the staff is really helpful. weekends are little busy so it's better if you reserve the table well before.
