too pricey for what you get. this was my first time eating colombian food, so i can't say how authentic it was. i can't remember the name of what i ordered, but it was basically a very thin slice of pan-seared steak with sauteed onions served on top of white rice. it came with a small bowl of red beans, a small side salad, and out of a choice of sweet plantains, yucca,or tostones, iorderedsweet plantains.
while i can't complain about the taste, i did feel like the red beans and rice needed something extra. the waiter brought out a cold onion/cilantro/chili salsa, which helped add some extra flavor to the dish.
the other two in my party: oneorderedsomething with chicken and instead it arrived with steak. she enjoyed it anyway, but not sure how they mixed up chicken and steak. also, sheordereda side of yucca, which was disappointing because it was two small pieces of fried yucca. that's it.
the otherordereda colombian gyro (with lamb) with fries. while he said the gyro was good, he was expecting it to have a colombian twist. instead, it tasted just like a greek gyro except for being served with guacamole on the side. the french fries were delicious, though.
for dessert, we shared a lemon cake which was drizzled with chocolate sauce and i think it had shaved white chocolate on top. it was tasty.
i felt like the food was good, but too expensive for the quality of what you get. however, the waiter was friendly and helpful and the service was failry prompt.
