the reviews were right. my wife and i stopped in for lunch last saturday. i kept reading all the "hype" about this place and decided to see if it lived up to it. based on a previous reviewer's recommendation, i ordered a "double wide" burger. uhh, when this thing was put in front of me, my wife busted out laughing. it was truly an amazing looking creation, three slices of texas toast, two big burgers, three slices of cheese, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, bacon, fried egg, pickles, and two skewers in the middle to hold everything together. several onion rings were added on the skewers, and the whole concoction seemed nearly a foot high.
after carefully analyzing all this, my plan of attack started with a knife to dissect the burger into more edible portions. a half hour later, i was stuffed and told the nice waitress that i needed a cot to lay down because i couldn't move. so yeah, this place lives up to the hype. what an awesome burger!
