good food at good prices!

branding and cml must be retards. this place is amazing. i went all out with the double wide, probably brandons home, and it was great. probably the best bargain in town. get some burnt sugar ice cream at poppy's afterwords, you won't be sorry.

fried pickles are to die for. burgers are spectacular. place is a noisy, loud bar that part kinda sucks.

fabulous!!. after hearing so many great reviews of how awesome their food was and how neat the outdoor patio and bar was i had to try it out for myself, and wow...so glad i did! the friend pickles were amazing along with the spicy balls and much bigger portions then the peanut or westside bar and grill.

i cannot wait to visit as often as i can and have told everyone about the fabulous food and atmosphere. we had great service and cannot say enough good things about stueys! way to go to the owners for giving us a fun place to go in lee's summit! i love the covered patio outside with the option to get a drink and smoke without having to go all the way outside and freeze!

absolutely #1 in lees summit!. we are crazy about stuey's! we have been there many times, and always try something different and really like everything we have had! the service is great, we love the atmosphere, and the beer is ice cold and the drinks are made perfectly! this last time we went on a monday, and had emily's home-made biscuits and gravy and pancakes - wow! - again, it was wonderful! if you haven't been here, you don't know what you're missing! keep it up, stuey's; we are fans for life!

finally! great food and atmosphere in downtown ls. we've seen 4 different bars try and fail in this location and are pleasantly surprised by stuey mcbrews. the tacos are fantastic. the atmosphere is great. love the ice block running down the bar. service was a little slow, but they just opened and will hopefully work out the kinks. the live music took our minds off it. definitely found our new spot in ls.

taco heaven!. stuey's is the place to be. there is always something going on. live music, plenty of people, tvs to watch, booze to consume, amazing food to eat, or just starring at the hot people that work there.

they have by far the best selection of tacos. their honey chipotle chicken tacos or their tequila lime chicken tacos with spicy balls (yes spicy balls) is by far the best meal i have had in a long time.

if you haven't been you should get there and be there everyday after.

very surprising gem in lee's summit. i recently moved to the area and this was one of the first places that i started checking out in the area, due to the good reviews i heard from urbanspoon. i was trying to find a new local place to haunt and figured i would give this a go.

i'll jump right to it, the food is dang near amazing. top of the list for me is their baha fish tacos. presentation is great, you get a good portion of food, it is the right mix of cool cabbage and spiciness... i could go on. however i have been there a few times and really enjoy their wings too, sampling quite a few styles of them. they do have a tenancy to be a bit more spicy than i was expecting, but never enough to make me uncomfortable. hey, spice is good anyway.

only problem with this place in my mind is it almost always seems dead to me. i have been told by the staff that i just pick bad days, and so maybe that explains it, but it actually seems pretty lonely in there every time i have been.

they have live music some nights, and i haven't caught any of that yet, so thats probably my next goal to experience from this place.

if your in the area i would stop by and check this place out.

i'll give it another try, but not the tacos. i have read the previous reviews and was craving good tacos, so i thought i would take my girlfriend and try this place out. i'm a big fan of downtown lee's summit, and prefer to support these local businesses than the chains. when we walked in, it has more of a bar look and feel than a restaurant, which is fine and doesn't bother me.

when we sat down and looked at the menu, there seems to be a good selection of food to choose from. but there were a few issues with the tacos. first, they are all soft shell. i was hoping for a hard shell. next, you have to order some crazy taco with tons of stuff on it. we were able to order off the menu a traditional taco, it just seems wierd you have to special order a regular taco. three good sized soft tacos arrived at our table. they would be enough to fill up most people. however, the taco meat was bland. it tasted like ground beef with no flavor. next time i would probably get chicken wings or a burger and hope they are better.

i like the atmosphere, and our server (i think her name is taylor) was very nice and attentive. i'll come back and have a few beers, but i don't think i'll order the tacos.

lovvve it!. stuey mcbrews is a fantastic establishment and you can tell by the food, service, and the upbeat atmosphere the employees all seem to have! food is not typical bar food at all! that brandon guy is crazy, you wouldn't have to be staff from one of the bars downtown ls that does serve sub-par food? that is not the case here at all. as many have said, the tacos and wings are phenomenal, but if you want something else try the 'po boy or southwest salad. i love having the option of grilled, blackened, or fried meat for everything! plus being to pick a side from anything from fries, to coleslaw, to spicy balls, to a salad is wonderful. although seemingly young, the staff is extremely professional but in a friendly, relaxed way. i'll continue to go back!

what was that brandon dude smokin? this is no ordinary bar food!. just discovered stuey mcbrews and love it. so.. ordinary bar food? ok well i had blackened tilapia tacos with a chipolte sauce on saturday - not your typical bar food. and if you are from springfield mo or went to college in springfield- guess what....springfield cashew chicken wings!!! yeah thats right - a taste of springfield with the right sauce!

where else can you get the best burger in town called the royal with cheese?

local owned bar. brandon if you want better decorations with a professional designer - go to crapplebees! you clearly work for a competitor.

eehh. is it a bar, a restaurant, a roadhouse, sports bar, a night club? the decor needs help, a few things here and there. for expample old record albums on one wall, but not enough to fill it up, then on another wall license plates. then on the long wall just boulevard beer metal tackers. the space is huge, which can be good or bad. but mostly likely bad because this place has failed many times as other bars and restaurants.
the food.....just bar food nothing special. i am sure it will be fine. but stuey mcbrew needs something thats separates itself from just another bar and grill.

the name is another thing "stuey mcbrews" after dining there i told my friends where we ate and all they could do is make fun of the name.

the food/service/patio is great!. having visited the downtown lee's summit area quite often in the past 5 years, i have seen this building serve several failed establishments. with that said, i hope stuey mcbrew's is here to stay.

i could go on and on about all the things i like about this place, but i will keep it simple. food=awesome! wings and tacos are both offered in several varieties and are a must, and i can't wait to try them all. service=awesome! our waitress was very friendly, knowlegable and made sure we had everything we needed. atmosphere=awesome! simply because i am a big fan of a large outdoor seating area, i have to give them a thumbs up in this catagory. great place to sit outside, have some food and drink and relax with friends.

right on. the wings and tacos are where i have spent most of my time ordering here. i am working my way through the rest of the menu but wings and tacos keep calling my name. they are different from anything else you will find in town and its easy to tell that a lot of thought has went into providing quality menu items. the food here is amazing and can stand on its own but the atmostphere and staff is why i keep coming back.

fun and delicious. we stumbled upon this place while walking around downtown lee's summit a few nights ago. i was drawn in by the great music being played on the patio. the bar was clean, staff was friendly and prompt. this bar has the best patio in lee's summit with plenty of seating a huge outdoor bar (that even has a slab of ice in the middle of the bar to keep your drinks cold). but the food is what will have me coming back. we had the lettuce wraps, coconut shrimp as starters ( all of their menu items had hilarious creative names we spent more time laughing at the names then thinking about what we wanted to eat) and for the entrée's a brewger (amazing) also i tried some wings. now i consider myself to be something of a wing connoisseur and these are the best wings in all of kansas city. i had the barbalo wings (bbq/buffalo) and tried someone else's bacon and cheese wings (yes bacon, yes cheese). this was a long winded review but i cannot even express how blown away by this restaurant i was. i'll try it again and let you know.
