srsolis amazing. i'm not sure what "lemon" is talking about, srsolis by far the best mexican restaurant i've ever been to and definitely the best in athens (i've lived here all my life, so yes i know what i'm talking about). food is always delicious and served quickly and is very authentic. staff are always friendly and polite and i have never had a disappointing experience at either of their locations. srsolfar surpasses la parilla and taqueria delsolin food quality. also their margaritas are incredible! love sr sol

do not ever order delivery from this restaurant. they are the rudest people i have ever dealt with. our food was cold, they overcharged us for food that was not in the bag, and didn’t even try to apologize for the inconvenience. the sr.solon broad is the best, but this one on talahassee rd is by far the worst restaurant in business. i will never be ordering again from there nor eating there and i suggest you do the same unless you want to be treated worse than the dirt on their shoes.

the west broad location is the pits compared to tallassee.. took my family of four out tonight to sr.solon broad and was insulted by what was presented to me to pass as a vegan quesadilla.

the tallassee location loads you up with grilled veggies and extra goodies, whereas the chef here filled the tortilla with three thin tomato slices, about a tablespoonful of spinach, a couple canned mushrooms and a single slice of zucchini...

i was so appalled, i told the server to take it back to the chef and remove it from my bill.

i did not as much as get a visit from the manager asking what was wrong nor what they could do to correct it and win my favor.
i had heard this location was notorious for this type of short changing and lack of concern and witnessed and endured the abuse first hand tonight.

never again.

avoid the west broad location, they do not deserve your business and do not compare to the original in any way.

clearly the best in athens!. sr.solwill never cease to amaze you! whether it is the crunchy empanadas with side sauce, fantastic tortas, or just the average americano taco, you will absolutely love anything they serve! their sauces are made fresh and meats are spiced with an amazing flair! you will want to come back day after day to try something different. we prefer the original sr.solon tallahassee, however the sr.solon atlanta hwy. has a great atmosphere and the same menu! at both venues, you will always be met with friendly wait staff and never disappointed!

great food. my wife and i took our daughter to sr.solbecause we had heard good things. the food was great, reasonably prices and well served. we (my wife and i) have eaten there twice since then. it's a great place and i recommend it.

i've had better.... more of the same americanized mexican easily found in any town in the south. the server tried hard but neither of us got what we asked for the first time we asked for it. a variety of mexican restaurants have floated through this broad street location, and if you ask me, sr.solis by far the worst occupant. nothing special and there is probably better mexican in town.

good, but not up to the hype. sr.solis ranked the #1 mexican restaurant in athens, and while it was good, i'm puzzled as to why it is the best.

last night my girlfriend stopped by to see what all the fuss was about, and i left a little disappointed. don't get me wrong - the food was very good. eating at a legitimate place like sr.solmakes you truly question why you ever go to taco bell.

oh, you can get a stale taco with shredded iceburg at taco bell for $2?
i got a real carne asada steak taco at sr.solfor $2 as well.

as far as prices goes. sr.solwasn't terrible.
the cheese dip was a tad expensive - $5 - and it was by no means better than anything you'd get at willies or moe's.

all in all, the food is good. but it isn't the best. it doesn't merit #1.

the queso was good, but it's better at willies on alps.
the tacos were good, but they're better at cali and titos.
the gordita was good, but they're better at the j&j's flea market. (no joke - if you ever go to j&j's, they have a little mexican food stand. buy a gordita. be sure to grab a napkin for your drool.)

summary - good place. not worth the #1 in athens.

fantastic food! in a town overrun with mexican eateries, sr.solreally stands out. food is always fresh and prepared in an open kitchen. fun to watch the cooks work at lightnig speed. the staff is awesome. always a great experience. they also deliver.
