the food was good. good location too. small dining area though so big groups could be packed in there.servicewas really good and friendly.

nice relaxed beach hut atmosphere, for breakfast i got a loco moco (egg, beef pattie, rice and gravy) which is a local meal - very filling and full of carbs but really nice and fills you up for a long hike. friendlyservicetoo. worth checking out.

it was all fine. blackened hebi was quite tasty; avocado and swiss burger with waffle fries pleased my daughter. chicken sandwich was fine.servicewas pleasant. view was nice. it was all fine, but nothing knocked out socks off.

upstairs and a great spot - food was brilliant i had the ribs and chicken an some of the best i have had.. great cold beers,servicewas slow, poor girl under the pump..all in all loved it.

great atmosphere. goodserviceand good portions of basic family food. the open air restaurant and bar has lovely views of pier. we both had the captain's platter which was generous and delish!

best ahi tuna tacos! wasabi mayo was amazing! ono tacos were ok, not the greatest, really good crab cake sliders.servicewas great, be sure to sit looking over the ocean!

visited splashers grill for a quick meal in kona. it certainly lived up to expectations. the seafood chowder was excellent, along with the fried ono, calamari and grilled prawns.servicewas prompt and friendly. overall a great meal...will be coming back for sure next time i come to kona!

good experience. first time visitors and splashers was recommended by a local. food was pretty good, butservicewas pretty mediocre. waiter seemed awkward and would hover a bit too long--felt like we were maybe missing something we were supposed to be doing or saying? best part was the entertainment. only table available was right next to the guitar singing guy they had in there and we hesitated, but were really hungry so just took it. he was fantastic--made my night. management, keep getting matthew to perform. perfect for that venue. made up for the awkward waiter.

mixed review. i'm not sure if this is a like or dislike. i ordered the fish tacos, which were delicious and everyone in our group of 4 said the same about their orders. however, theservicewas sloooooooow.

consistently good. great breakfast, great people watching., great service. we were left wanting for not. asked for well done taters, nailed it. excellent eggs benedict, needs a little lemon in the sauce but still good. bottomless free coffee and deelish mimosas. everyone enjoyed their meals.

good french toast, good bloody mary, eggs done right accompanied with excellentserviceand quality food.easy location for tourist across the street from the pier and the seawall.

it is kind of generic seafood fried stuff but enjoyable. it is nothing to write home about but i would eat here again. nice views and good with kids. good eats goodservicegood time:)

splashtastic!!!. this is my first urbanspoon review for my trip to hawaii, and i wanted to review the restaurants i went to by best to worst. this place was the best! i was staying across the street because the restaurant is right next to one of the only beaches in kona... hard to believe but it's true. had breakfast there four out of the five days i was in hawaii and let me tell you... these guys can cook! i'm talking breakfast burritos that could feed an army. and oh my god... i almost forgot, you got to get the crab cakes... divine! theservicewas great too and the owners are always walking around meeting people, so it's pretty friendly. oh and if you go for dinner... prime rib!!!! omg, soooo good!

great burger, huge portions, don't just drive by!. i didn't know what to expect walking in, but i was really pleased with the immediate friendlyserviceand awesome view of the ocean! the portions were huge and the burgers were super good. absolutely would recommend this place to anyone who's super hungry and looking for a great burger!
