really disappointed with this place. have been wanting to go here for so long, finally made a booking for brunch yesterday morning - despite being told there were no reservations then finding some online..! with the reservation we were told we had an hour and a half slot which was fine as we weren't planning on staying much longer. i ordered the french toast which berries and maple syrup - had to ask the waitress for the maple syrup which just came in a squeezy bottle you can buy in the shop. was nice but nothing to shout about! my friend went for the blueberry pancakes and we both got apple juice - must have been freshly squeezed as they were different colours and tastes quite different! food came quick and we were quite satisfied until the waitresses started trying to lift our glasses from the table when they were still half full? this started about 40 minutes into the 90 minute slot with plenty of free tables around us - at least 6 that i could see. eventually they handed us the bill with 15 minutes to go. would not go back here despite the really fabviewof the city, i don't like to be pushed out of a place that's not even full. maybe i just had a bad experience as other reviews have been a lot better!!

what makes this place is the atmosphere and theview- it has a very new york feel to it. for starters we had the squid and the fettuccine (€10 / €8) so reasonable and very tasty. the fettuccine was to die, and i was left wanting more. for mains we both had pizzas - they were fine, presentation wasn't great and they were a bit greasy. the standard of the starters far surpassed the mains we ordered
i would 100% go back again -  however i would choose something different as my main.
rooftop terrace is really great too.

it has a greatviewof dublin and a cute terrace. it has a comfy decor.

they have a wide range of alcohol menu. they serve some kickass cocktails and the pizza is to die for! they serve a delicious pasta too. worth a shot if you're visiting dublin!

we went there for brunch which is something i love. the best of this place is theviewand it makes the experience much better. but serve me the same food in an ordinary restaurant and i don't think it'd be as popular.

i have been to sophie's a couple of time. it is a really nice place with a great balcony and restaurant with an amazing 360viewof dublin. they have wide range of beverages and great meal menu. i was here for dinner and tried their poached duck egg for starter that had a special added pomegranate seeds in compare to the menu. it was a great starter and flavours went well together beside the corn bread which was a bit too sweet. i ordered the calamari and chorizo bolognese for main. it was a little on the low side for calamari but still a nice dish. in total i recommend sophie's for dinner or just a quiet night out.

very limited grub options but theviewand the roof top ambience kinda made it a lovely dinner outing.

incredible views over dublin in a modern setting. great warehouse style open-plan restaurant with the chefs and barmen onviewworking away. impressive range of breakfast options. staff were kind enough to oblige adding some decadence to the already decadent french toast. went down a treat with some ice cream on the side. lovely, pulpy orange juice. delicious!

absolutely love the design andviewfrom sophie's and the seating was quite cool too.
the service was friendly and reasonably quick.
i would have preferred a menu with a bigger range of starters except for the usual array that the newer trendy restaurants seem to go with.
anyway, steak was top class and a drink at the bar after was very relaxing.
smoking area would be nice on a nicer evening. will return.

fantasticviewof all the city - perfect for brunch/ breakfast/ dinner or lunch and or a special occassion.
went here with two of the girls for our christmas lunch two days before christmas and really enjoyed it.
the service, food and over experience was lovely. only down side was the 1.15 hour slot given for lunch. we decided on two courses and ive no problem with tables being overturned due to the busy period - but the food must come out at that speed also. its not very pleasent to be told halfway through your first course that you have 15 minutes left to order dessert and eat it.
however- it was christmas, and nonetheless i thoroughly enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
will definitely be back for their brunch it looks incredible!

amazingviewand amazing food!
in the very centre of dublin, at the top floor of the building sophie's delights the most discerning palates of its customer.

went to sophie's for brunch this morning. there's a greatviewof dublin city and the decor is fab. great for groups as there is plenty of space. eight of us fitted in easily. the food was lovely, i had blueberry pancakes, followed by a chocolate brownie and raspberry sorbet. the full irish breakfast and the half a chicken were also delicious. great value as well, lovely treat for a weekend morning!

had a very average meal here. wide choice on the food menu but was disappointed overall. staff were trying to up sell ferociously which was intimidating, and prices were very steep for what we got! only redeeming thing is the amazingviewof dublin. would definitely return for drinks only, and skip the restaurant!

i don't mind to pay 23 euros for my main (chicken and seatrout, i've been there twice) but i am expecting either something amazingly tasty or at leat bigger portion. looks that i am paying just to sit there, and nothing more. you are right, theviewis great, the staff is lovely, but seriously, there is no value for money, either in the quality/quality.
