went for a cocktail on a sunny evening during the week.

the room is beautiful, bright and airy with huge windows offering views over the city. initially we took a seat in the terrace but the views are better in the bar

the staff are friendly and efficient- the cocktails are a little on the pricy side and i would say, not quite as good as some of the other cocktail bars in the city,

still worth a visit though!

really disappointed with this place. have been wanting to go here for so long, finally made a booking for brunch yesterday morning - despite being told there were no reservations then finding some online..! with the reservation we were told we had an hour and a half slot which was fine as we weren't planning on staying much longer. i ordered the french toast which berries and maple syrup - had to ask the waitress for the maple syrup which just came in a squeezy bottle you can buy in the shop. was nice but nothing to shout about! my friend went for the blueberry pancakes and we both got apple juice - must have been freshly squeezed as they were different colours and tastes quite different! food came quick and we were quite satisfied until the waitresses started trying to lift our glasses from the table when they were still half full? this started about 40 minutes into the 90 minute slot with plenty of free tables around us - at least 6 that i could see. eventually they handed us the bill with 15 minutes to go. would not go back here despite the really fab view of the city, i don't like to be pushed out of a place that's not even full. maybe i just had a bad experience as other reviews have been a lot better!!

great setting, amazing food and friendly staff. really fun experience- day or night, romantic dinner or girls night out. definitely one of my top recommendations for dublin!

what makes this place is the atmosphere and the view - it has a very new york feel to it. for starters we had the squid and the fettuccine (€10 / €8) so reasonable and very tasty. the fettuccine was to die, and i was left wanting more. for mains we both had pizzas - they were fine, presentation wasn't great and they were a bit greasy. the standard of the starters far surpassed the mains we ordered
i would 100% go back again -  however i would choose something different as my main.
rooftop terrace is really great too.

it has a great view of dublin and a cute terrace. it has a comfy decor.

they have a wide range of alcohol menu. they serve some kickass cocktails and the pizza is to die for! they serve a delicious pasta too. worth a shot if you're visiting dublin!

we went there for brunch which is something i love. the best of this place is the view and it makes the experience much better. but serve me the same food in an ordinary restaurant and i don't think it'd be as popular.

i wanted to go try it since some time and i finally was able to do so a week ago. the ambiance is nice but the food is a bit overrated. i had the rocket and sun-dried tomato pizza, it barely had cheese. it tastes ok but not as expected

would highly recommend this restaurant-between the stunning views of the city and the delicious pizza you really can't go wrong.
i visited sophie's for a monday lunch, it wasn't too busy and the service was prompt.
i ordered the chorizo and sun-dried tomato pizza which was very very good. i can't wait to visit again!!

i've been here for drinks. cocktails are amazing and the place is beautiful! for smokers, there's an outside terrace but your space is very limited because you can't move too close to the tables. people are nice, lovely atmosphere. i'd like to try the brunch too! recommended.

i have been dying to go here for a long time as i've heard great things and i wasn't disappointed. my friend and i decided to share the pasta special which had all kinds of fish in it with a beautiful creamy tomato sauce. and then we also shared the pizza which was also just as delicious

i have been to sophie's a couple of time. it is a really nice place with a great balcony and restaurant with an amazing 360 view of dublin. they have wide range of beverages and great meal menu. i was here for dinner and tried their poached duck egg for starter that had a special added pomegranate seeds in compare to the menu. it was a great starter and flavours went well together beside the corn bread which was a bit too sweet. i ordered the calamari and chorizo bolognese for main. it was a little on the low side for calamari but still a nice dish. in total i recommend sophie's for dinner or just a quiet night out.

lovely view of the city scape from the fifth floor..
one of the best thin crust pizza in this part of dublin..
very limited grub options but the view and the roof top ambience kinda made it a lovely dinner outing.

incredible views over dublin in a modern setting. great warehouse style open-plan restaurant with the chefs and barmen on view working away. impressive range of breakfast options. staff were kind enough to oblige adding some decadence to the already decadent french toast. went down a treat with some ice cream on the side. lovely, pulpy orange juice. delicious!

had heard a lot of good things about this place so stopped by last friday night. on the evening in question a private party had reserved the outdoor roof area so we proceeded to the main restaurant grabbing seats at the bar. it was busy but lacked atmosphere - there was no music - so after one drink my companions and i decided to go somewhere else.

i've been to sophie's a few times for lunch. i always find the food really nice and the staff very friendly. this time i got the salmon with an avocado salad on the side and panna cotta for dessert. both were fab! possibly the best panna cotta i have ever had!! it's a little pricey for a work lunch but a great occasion place to go.
