very average thai meal. ordered pad thai, very basic meal but lacked some essentials in such a traditional dish and the penang curry was nice in terms of the sauce but the beef was like an old boot. noise was unbearable and difficult to communicate with my spouse due to such. have been here before on multiple occasions with family and friends and we have experienced the same ordinary thai food and noise and will not be back or recommend. appreciate saturday nights may be hard to service but if you advertise your goods and don't deliver thentimeto move on

went to somerville thai after hearing a lot of good reports about the food. not to be disappointed. the food was great, service was great. the only criticisms i have are that it is a very noisy place where it's difficult to talk amongst friends. but secondly, the on-line menu is very deceptive and should be addressed. it is out of date and courses are on average $4.00 more.  even the menus at the counter are out of date. not good. however, we'll go again for sure, probably at a latertimeto avoid the noise of a full restaurant.

death stares from your waitress. tonight we decided that cooking was just too much effort, its sunday why not just go down to the local thai, a place we have been going to for quite a few years now, but can officially say that after tonight's awful service we will not be going back ever again.
the restaurant was relatively empty, but still it took them over 10 minutes to even come over and get a drink order. a young petite blonde waitress with a lot of attitude finally came over to take our order, when we asked for one curries to be medium she looked at us as though we were speaking another language and rolled her eyes. i asked to taste one of the wines on the menu before i committed to a glass but got told that they will only let me taste it if i buy the bottle so i settled with water instead. when the food came out she slammed the meals on the table almost breaking one of the plates and when we said the rice was lukewarm we got another nasty look before she took it back to the kitchen. the wholetimewe were eating she was giving us nasty looks as if to say "can you hurry up and leave i just want to go home" so i guess from now on we will make the trip to mornington for thai instead

not as good as it used to be!. i have been to this restaurant about 10 times for sit down or take away, bought some takeaway last night & it was not up to the standard i have had every othertimei've been there! i'm wondering has it changed hands? the same thing has happened to the fish & chip shop i use in somy! they are not the same anymore will have to look for a new fish & chip shop
