wonderfulplaceto eat, always come back here. lovely food, staff are friendly. delicious all the way. happily recommend it to anyone, is probably the best thai food on the peninsula. i love the professionalism of the staff. came here for christmas 2018 with family from nz, absolutely loved it too, they were still commenting about it at the airport on the way home. its better where they have moved to in the front where there is more parking.

went to somerville thai after hearing a lot of good reports about the food. not to be disappointed. the food was great, service was great. the only criticisms i have are that it is a very noisyplacewhere it's difficult to talk amongst friends. but secondly, the on-line menu is very deceptive and should be addressed. it is out of date and courses are on average $4.00 more.  even the menus at the counter are out of date. not good. however, we'll go again for sure, probably at a later time to avoid the noise of a full restaurant.

delicious food - 50/50 staff attitudes. went here for my 21st birthday last night and ordered lots of different food which was all delicious and came out very quickly. the only off putting thing about thisplacewas how varied the competency in staff was. from the girl who served us there was no smiles or any kind of interaction with the table. however another member of staff came along later and asked if i'd like a bucket to put my flowers in for the night to keep them fresh, so that was really thoughtful. we were also overcharged $100 but a member of staff ran out to our car to let us know and gave us a refund. i will be returning because the food outweighs the variance of attitudes in the staff!

death stares from your waitress. tonight we decided that cooking was just too much effort, its sunday why not just go down to the local thai, aplacewe have been going to for quite a few years now, but can officially say that after tonight's awful service we will not be going back ever again.
the restaurant was relatively empty, but still it took them over 10 minutes to even come over and get a drink order. a young petite blonde waitress with a lot of attitude finally came over to take our order, when we asked for one curries to be medium she looked at us as though we were speaking another language and rolled her eyes. i asked to taste one of the wines on the menu before i committed to a glass but got told that they will only let me taste it if i buy the bottle so i settled with water instead. when the food came out she slammed the meals on the table almost breaking one of the plates and when we said the rice was lukewarm we got another nasty look before she took it back to the kitchen. the whole time we were eating she was giving us nasty looks as if to say "can you hurry up and leave i just want to go home" so i guess from now on we will make the trip to mornington for thai instead

used to like this place. for a local thaiplaceit was pretty good. something has changed! after being shifted from our table one, and having to ask for wine glasses. then the food came. after 35 minutes, because they forgot us! we went the banquet. entrees ok, soup, sweet but i really enjoyed it.... then that was as good as it got. fatty chicken, cold beef salad, no herbs, no chilli, lettuce mix bought from coles next door. fish was ok, no where near as good as last time. the highlight of my meal was the ice cream! what disgusted me the most was some slob from the kitchen dragging through a stinking wheelie bin, and a trolley to the kitchen. straight past out table, like we want to see that while out for dinner at a restaurant? then 15 minutes later, wheeled it straight back out. here's a crazy idea... wait until your patrons leave, so they don't feel like they are eating at a tip! i won't be returning. thisplacehas lost me for good.
