snuffer's

awful. the food was terrible. the service was worse. even the bloody mary was bad. once we were sat our server dropped off three menus for four people, we asked for another and never received it. she dropped off plates and napkins 10 min later and still hadn't taken our drink order. she forgot to bring us straws, even though we asked several times and eventually got them from another server. it took more than a half hour to get our appetizers (cheese dip and fried pickles) the dips were awful, the fried pickles were the only edible thing out of our order. about 45 minutes and we still had not received our order. we asked to tab out and she took the card. a manager came out and apologized and assured us our food would be out next. we said ok, we still wanted the food but we did need to tab out still. when our food finally arrived theorderwas incorrect. we were missing salad dressing, anorderof fries and gravy. the chicken tenders were nuggets, and thee fries wit them were soaked in grease and it looked like the salt lid fell off when they were salted. the burger was disgusting. i'm not sure if the meat had gone bad or what but i spit it out. the server finally returned with our card but not receipt or anything. we refused to eat any of that garbage and asked to pay for our drinks and apps. the manager comped off everything but the drinks, which was appreciated but he was not apologetic, and seemed pretty angry. we spent two hours in there to go to jack in the box for lunch. just passing through, but i can promise we will never eat at any snuffers again. awful.

food was very good but would of been better if myorderwas correctly made but that's what i get for getting it to go!!!

i have been a loyal fan of snuffer's for almost 20 years, but now i am officially done! my family and i (including our young daughter) went to the rockwall location tonight. we weren't greeted by any staff for 10 minutes after we sat down (even then, it wasn't our waiter who greeted us). then, our waiter finally came to take our appetizerorderand disappeared for 20 more minutes. after many unsuccessful attempts by us to flag him down, he finally took our mealorder30 minutes into our visit. even after we complained to him about the service, he still checked in on us only minimally and refilled our drinks only once after we, once again, flagged him down and requested refills. after an hour and 5 minutes, we finally just asked them to cancel our orders so that we could pay for what we had and leave. all of a sudden, our food magically appeared before us. imagine that! however, my salad lacked most of the toppings i know it comes with and didn't come with the ranch dressing i ordered. did i mention that myorderwas just a soup and salad, my husband's was a sandwich, and my daughter's was mini corn dogs that i'm sure they just throw in the microwave? why on earth would that take over 30 minutes to cook? the restaurant was not crowded at all. thankfully for us, the manager did comp our meal. we hightailed it out of there as quickly as possible and will never return!

i love thier swiss-mushroom burger. they have the best swiss-mushroom burger in town. iorderit without the fixens. just swiss cheese, sauteed mushrooms and mayo. yummy...making me hungry just thinking about it.

enjoy all of it!! i had the cheeseburger (american cheese) & large cheese fries to share with my friend. the burger comes on a poppy seed bun, which is kind of different, in a good way. the meat is deliciously seasoned. cheese fries were amazing!!! i should have just gotten anorderof those because we had plenty left over. it was about $15 for the cheeseburger & lg cheese fries. (on a side note we called ourorderin and it was ready within 10 minutes...def a plus for a very busy lunch neighborhood)
