awful. the food was terrible. the service was worse. even the bloody mary was bad. once we were sat our server dropped off three menus for four people, we asked for another and never received it. she dropped off plates and napkins 10 min later and still hadn't taken our drink order. she forgot to bring us straws, even though we asked several times and eventually got them from another server. it took more than a half hour to get our appetizers (cheese dip and fried pickles) the dips were awful, the fried pickles were the only edible thing out of our order. about 45 minutes and we still had not received our order. we asked to tab out and she took the card. a manager came out and apologized and assured us our food would be out next. we said ok, we still wanted the food but we did need to tab out still. when our food finally arrived the order was incorrect. we were missing salad dressing, an order offriesand gravy. the chicken tenders were nuggets, and theefrieswit them were soaked in grease and it looked like the salt lid fell off when they were salted. the burger was disgusting. i'm not sure if the meat had gone bad or what but i spit it out. the server finally returned with our card but not receipt or anything. we refused to eat any of that garbage and asked to pay for our drinks and apps. the manager comped off everything but the drinks, which was appreciated but he was not apologetic, and seemed pretty angry. we spent two hours in there to go to jack in the box for lunch. just passing through, but i can promise we will never eat at any snuffers again. awful.

this snuffers sucked. cheesefriesonly half cooked, ordered loaded and got small cups of toppings. no kids menus offered.

this is a dallas classic. they have some of the best cheesefriesaround. their burgers are pretty awesome too. we also enjoy their fried mushroom. i recommend!

hey, what's this in my burger?. hadn't eaten at snuffer's in quite some time, but for some reason decided to stop in. had my daughters with me and they love the cheese fries, which were very tasty. unfortunately, when my burger arrived it was another story. on my second or third bite of the burger it became clear that something wasn't right. as i chewed something hard and pointy was poking my tongue, i stopped chewing (of course) and to my surprise i spat out a......chicken bone! yeah, a chicken rib bone was embedded in the burger. i notified our server who had no idea what to do as i suggested that she send over a manager. the manager arrived and was dumbfounded at what i showed him. he mentioned something about their meat supplier, yada, yada, yada. he asked if i would like something else and i politely declined. when the bill came, they were kind enough not to charge us for the burger, however they did charge us for the chicken strips, cheesefriesand drinks. (if i had been the manager the tab would have been comped in total which would probably kept the diner from writing a review for others to see on the interwebs, oh well) needless to say, we will not be back to snuffers in rockwall...

i've been to several snuffers in the dfw area and have never had such an awful experience as i did here. first, the waiter we started with was rude and lacking every essential piece of being a waiter except the title. secondly, the thefrieslooked like they had been made an hour before we got there, the cheese did not come apart like they should if it was fresh, there were several blackfriesin the basket too, and they were incredibly over salted! lastly, my chicken fried steak looked and tasted like a hungry man frozen meal. the breeding came off when i stuck my fork in, the gravy tasted of pure salt, and the vegetables looked fresh outta the freezer. gross. needless to say, would never ever reccommend this place to anyone.

a note to the owner/mangers: if something doesn't don't good, salt will not make it taste better! figure out what's wrong with it!!

filling, unhealthy, delicious. the burgers are relatively cheap and come in lots of varieties. the cheesefriesare quite famous as well. i ordered the blue cheese burger and the small cheesefries(with bacons, chives and jalapeños). the burger itself was cooked medium and was very moist and tasty. it had quality blue cheese crumbles and dressing. thefrieswere out of this world. tons of gooey cheese and every bite was just greasy heaven. i left full and happy. do not come here if you are on a diet. very good service as well.

try the.... cheese fries! tried a big serving of cheesefriesafter a strong recommendation from my gf and wow, the bested outback steakhouse's cheesefries by just a tad. i really enjoyed how they did not load on the toppings because, more times than not, that seems to make thefriessoggy - and who wants soggy fries??

the burger was also very good, went with a bacon cheeseburger. it was just one dang good burger and would highly recommend.

great place to go if you are looking to splurge on a bit of food at a very reasonable cost. service was also good, clean restaurant as well. would definitely go back and earned a "like" from me.

strange service but great cheese fries. snuffers is really good food. not particularly healthy but it tastes awesome. their cheesefriesare their staple appetizer. i recommend them "loaded" which means with jalapenos, bacon and chives. after the cheesefriesthen you can go with whatever on their menu but the cheesefriesare a must have. i am a fan of their burger and their spicy battered chicken strips. their grilled chicken strips aren't bad either.

one slight word of warning it that is isn't necessarily the place to go if you need a quick lunch. it can be quick but it is a kind of strange setup where everyone seems to wait on every table. it goes well most of the time, but i have also found myself forgotten there before. with a little patience it is fine but just a word of warning.

asked for a virgin daquiri for my 9 yr old and they brought an alcoholic one. waitress snatched it away from her before she drank any of it. didn't even offer to comp our meal and even charged us for the virgin one they brought. the place smells like a wet sour mop bucket too. i don't care how good the cheesefriesare. i'll never set foot here again.

my opinion. the place is somewhat run down and the burgers are nothing like jake's and if you wantfriesgo to moohay also they need to clean this place.....and now they are bk....way to go

we were looking for a good burger and decided to try snuffers in plano. it was absolutely the worst burger i have ever tasted. they were charred, extremely salty - to the point i couldn't eat it. tried both the cheesefriesand the regular. both were awful. tasted greesy, as if the oil hadn't been changed in quite awhile. stear clear. want a good burger done the way you like it, go to houstons.

enjoy all of it!! i had the cheeseburger (american cheese) & large cheesefriesto share with my friend. the burger comes on a poppy seed bun, which is kind of different, in a good way. the meat is deliciously seasoned. cheesefrieswere amazing!!! i should have just gotten an order of those because we had plenty left over. it was about $15 for the cheeseburger & lg cheese fries. (on a side note we called our order in and it was ready within 10 minutes...def a plus for a very busy lunch neighborhood)

wasn't a fan of the cheddarfriesbut loved the huge cheeseburger i got! the lettuce was minced finely, the tomatos were fresh, the patty was juicy, and the buns were so soft!

best cheesefriesin town. period. smokers ruin the experience.
