very disappointed. we went to celebrate a birthday and were looking to a decades old staple of peanut soup. when we arrived there was a wedding party occupying the main dining room so we were seated in a separate room and given a piece of paper with a choice of 4 entrees. on the opposite side was the lunch menu. so here we are at a fine dining resturant at 7:30pm with a lunch menue.
we noticed after we ordered sandwiches thta some of the people around us were having shrimp and crabcakes and what a[ppeared to be items we nver saw. when we ask, we were informed they ordered from the dinner menu, but you have to ask for the dinner menu. what???? who came up with that idea?? no peanut soup an you have to ask for a dinnermenuon a friday night at 7:30pm?? food was nothing to go back for and i totally felt discounted.
go for lunch because that is all you"ll be offered unless you are seated in the main dr (which was unavailabe the night we went). go to the smithfield station instead.
