i enjoyed my visit to the smitfield inn, this place has great ambiance and verygoodservice. i tried their crab cake w/fried green tomatoes. the crab cake was prettygoodwith a fair amount of meat but awesome fried green tomatoes. i also tried their she crab soup which i found quite tasty. this is a great place for a nice lunch or dinner if you are in downtown smithfield. they are also known for their ham biscuits. there is a nice bar inside and plenty of parking across the street.
