skyline chili

theskylinechili is a good place to hangout. i tried the 5 way it was great but not as what people in cincinnati claim. still i would give it a shot for sure 😁.

i love cincinnati style (greek) chili andskylineis my second favorite after gold star, a relative latecomer to the scene. or is blue ash chili my favorite? i'm really not sure. butskylineis near the top of my list and the clifton location is the spiritual center of theskylineuniverse.

absolutely hands down the best coney in the usa!! i order the spice packets/cans online so i can duplicate the experience at home in alabama. i once drove the family an hour off course just to eat atskylinechili!!!

the place. the best location forskylinechili. heck, the best location for cincinnati chili, period. love the 5-way and cheese coneys.

who dey???. for real though if u from cincy and u aint triedskylinechili u shud pack ya bags and move outta here because you are not a real cincinnatian! this stuff goes hard and is my favorite place to eat and chill at 12 am !!

after that first tentative bite, it took me about three seconds to wolf down the remainder of the cheese coney. its not a difficult feat, since they are only about half the size of a standard size hot dog. one of my lunch companions had ordered more than he could eat, so i helped him out by devouring one of his coneys while someone else in our party called him a pussy. before long, it was time to return to work. but six hours later, i was back atskylinefor some dinner time takeout consisting of more of those cheese coneys and a four-way with onions. yes, it was probably overkill, but in all the best ways.

one area where theskylineconey excels is their cheese. much like the chili, you get a large amount of cheese on each coney

skyline. i would visit price hill in cinti o and i worked in covington, ky for irs. there was askylinechili shop in our building, so i have had plenty of their food. i now am retired and live in northern indiana, ( ug ) but i am able to get canned or frozenskylinehere at most of the local stores. i just finished a bowl of it!! besides the regular chili, spagetti, bean & onion dish, my friend and i would steam natural casing hot dogs and serve them withskylineand chopped onions on a regular hotdog bun. couldn't get enough of them yum yum yum !!

a clifton landmark. thisskylinelocation is the defining college restaurant for uc. droves of inebriated college youths flock here every night. most of the food here is cooked by steam and it gets to the point where it is so steamy in here at night that the windows are fogged up and you can't see through them.

also, to agree with another poster, something is different about this particular skyline. this is theskylineto go to if you want it done right. if you are showing an out-of-towner cincinnati chili for the first time, this is the place you want to go.

it could also be that most of the people who go here are drunk and their judgment of the food is affected. or that it is the busiestskylinei've ever been to and so the food is coming out faster and is fresher than at other locations. either way, this location gets my vote for the bestskylinein the whole chain.
