skyline chili

thefoodwas good and the crowd was great.
the place is easily accessible and the staff was very courteous and nice.
the service was good and fast.

heavenly. as a southerner, i am used to hot/spicy chili with kidney beans and jalapenos. i was not looking forward to eating my husband's favoritefoodfrom medical school. the thought of sweet chili made me a little queasy.
i reluctantly order a coney and a wrap thing.
omg- i was an ordering fool after that and couldn't get enough.
they have everything cooking and ready right in front of you (we sat at the bar). they pile on the chili/cheese, onions. yumm-o. the wrap that i had was chili/cheese in a tortilla. this is beyond words. i could eat forever- the only thing that stopped me was the limitations my stomach put on space.
the service was stellar, and everyone there was quick and pleasant.
if you haven't been- go! it is worth it.

a clifton landmark. this skyline location is the defining college restaurant for uc. droves of inebriated college youths flock here every night. most of thefoodhere is cooked by steam and it gets to the point where it is so steamy in here at night that the windows are fogged up and you can't see through them.

also, to agree with another poster, something is different about this particular skyline. this is the skyline to go to if you want it done right. if you are showing an out-of-towner cincinnati chili for the first time, this is the place you want to go.

it could also be that most of the people who go here are drunk and their judgment of thefoodis affected. or that it is the busiest skyline i've ever been to and so thefoodis coming out faster and is fresher than at other locations. either way, this location gets my vote for the best skyline in the whole chain.
