this is the first time since post-covid times i'm visiting this restaurant and i do see a lot of cleanliness and hygienic issues in the restauarant. there is a strong bad odor/smell inside restaurant which was making our experience even more unpleasant. we ordered for veg. noodles which was completely drenched in oil. this is my the 4th time visit and this is the first time i'm experiencing all these issues. :(

have eaten jain punjabi sabji from here since last 2 weeks daily and also had various dal and rice, the paneer the use in sabji is of premium quality , very soft and the food is always piping hot and fresh . undoubtedly best jain food in chennai.

soup, phulka and side dish were quite good. however, the kashmiri pulav was a let down - just few dry fruits and bits of vegetables were placed on top of plain basmati rice. flavor was missing

went on a sunday afternoon, liked the ambience, small and iiked the no-nonsense feel of the place. service was quick and food was good, i felt the kashmiri pulao was too sweet. good place to go near panangal park for northie food! edit in february 2021, paneer based dishes are superb. jain food options available. excellent choice in t nagar for northie veg food!

they’ve recently renovated the place. i’ve been there several times over but my experience last night was underwhelming. absolute lack of coordination among the waiters. orders were misplaced thrice on our table. the waiter showed total apathy. management needs to look into this.

customer service was not up to the expectations despite the long wait time. staff were unable to manage the large crowd and manpower was lacking. the restaurant management should have anticipated the crowd given that it is the weekend before new year. staff were curt and unpleasant. overall it was not a good experience :(
