a decent food joint located in the heart of tnagar..usually very crowded with a long wait time on week ends.
went for a lunch with a friend at 12pm on a sunday afternoon and luckily we were the first ones in the restaurant.
ordered buttermilk which was really cool for the scorching heat. baby corn fry was juz average while the panner lababdar was awesome. the phulka's were soft and thin. overall agoodplace.

it was great. it seems they missed one of the orders but i called them and they the staff was responsive enough to fix it. food wasgoodand the quantity was more than satisfactory. 5 stars for staff response.

good place for north indian

a place that serves great north indian food. the best part is the bottle of masala chaas (spiced buttermilk). i love it personally. chandini paneer tikka is a must try here. the paneer is so yum and soft. their tawa phulka is so soft. a must try indeed. a wide range of north indian dishes and lip smacking gravies. the taste is reallygoodand portion size is also good. ambiance is not that great as it is a very small place. ,crowded most of the time. try this out if you are looking for agoodvegetarian restaurant that specializes in north indian.

look to reduce the oil/ghee content in food a little bit without compromising on thegoodtaste of your food🙂👍

everything wasgoodand the taste are also good. especially the staffs are very polite..cheese balls taste isgoodbut the size of the cheese balls can be reduced because eating one balls make us feel full.

was never an ardent fan of ni food in chennai since they lacked that exceptional kick which those food usually tend to have. but, this place was a huge turnaround and should say that it is underrated. 

to start with was the cream of tomato, sweet corn mushroom soup and masala papad. while the soup was thick and rich in flavours, the papad was as good as we could get at any native shop!!

chilly paneer - saucy, spiced paneer tossed in green onions; sweet and sour on the whole with subtle soft crunch

baby corn pakoda - deep fried corn fritters with evenly coated batter; goes best with their mint  chutney. ain't spicy yet perfect blend for any starter

butter roti with bhindi do pyaza - soft roti with creamy bhindi masala;goodspice full of flavours; great texture on the veggies which went well with pulao too

kashmiri pulao - all time favorite with sweet and dry fruits all along; melon and raisins were the star; so buttery yet never felt heavy, one of a kind

kulfi falooda and abu roll - sweet kulfi chopped down with the falooda; basil seeds and the sweet vermicelli gelled well to present themselves as the sumptuous dessert , hell yea

basundi rabdi - thick condensed milk mixed well with the sweet basundi; every scoop was heavy with so much cream and dives down the throat smoothly, wow!!

situated inside the narrow streets of the city, this place has a tight parking spot and limiting seating space. there was some waiting time for the table but not for the food though.
the ambience was quaint and simple with courteous service on the whole. 
when it comes to pricing, they are definitely better than many spots since they did balance out both the authentic taste and quantity.

i ordered cheese balls and dum briyani. cheese balls wasgoodbut briyani. i have never eaten this kind of worst briyani before. i doubt if it's briyani or fried rice. and the fun part is this briyani is available nly on sunday coz it's special. wth please don't fool your customers. worst experience overall👎👎👎👎

hi sir we are ordered some different varieties of paneer recipe it'sgoodbut we expected more what dinning room your service when we are ordering time has not been get parratta/ non you should be take care for quality. we hope for our next order please take more care. thanks

paneer didn’t tastegoodand was too mushy. other dishes were too oily.

went on a sunday afternoon, liked the ambience, small and iiked the no-nonsense feel of the place. service was quick and food was good, i felt the kashmiri pulao was too sweet.goodplace to go near panangal park for northie food! edit in february 2021, paneer based dishes are superb. jain food options available. excellent choice in t nagar for northie veg food!

customer service was not up to the expectations despite the long wait time. staff were unable to manage the large crowd and manpower was lacking. the restaurant management should have anticipated the crowd given that it is the weekend before new year. staff were curt and unpleasant. overall it was not agoodexperience :(

good experience and taste wasgoodof the main course and starters

great place..been there lot many times. must try the punjabi thali. just they don't serve it on weekends. i like the ambiance too.goodplace as a whole.

good panner tikka and other north indian items . not asgoodas it was in past . prices are reasonable . must visit atleast once . used to be reallygoodin 2016-17
