shmoozie's has the shmoothest ice-cream in chennai- it was an unbelievably delicious experience! 🤤
i was very impressed by their range of flavours, but the minute i dipped my spoon into their ice cream, i was floored! the freshness of their ingredients was obvious- and i'm not sure what magic they do back there, it was the smooooothest ice cream ever! no photos, coz was too busy eating 😅

nice initiative for the dessert scenario in the city. being a delivery only place i expected some fancy packing.

butterscotch almond brittle - tasted nice, unlike the regular butterscotch flavors with other places
pecan shortbread and fig jam - i ended up having this since this was the least favorite among my daughters :)
banoffee pie cream - nice and creamy with rich flavor
callebaut belgian chocolate - the best of the lot, perfect flavor, rich and creamy.

ambience - n.a.
quality of food - 3.5/5
service - 4/5
value for money - 3.5/5
cost - 150 / person
service charge - n/a
gst - 18%

hey! if you love ice creams, and haven't tried shmoozie's yet! what are you even doing with your life! yes. they seem to be the best in what they do.

by the name, i did expect them to be different from the usual icecream and yes they are different. their hand crafted icecream feels like having a scoop from heaven.

ordered pecan shortbread and fig jam ice cream. arrived on time with a cute bag and we'll packed.
every scoop of this tasted so blissful and heavenly. so original and rich in the flavors. quality and taste wise it's perfect.

wishing to try rest of their icecreams soon.

an awesome start up, hoping they reach heights.

you might think this place as an underdog in the world of ice creams. but trust me. you are wrong. we had the callebaut belgium chocolate, banofee short bread, butterscotch, pecan and caramelized figs, honey ginger and guava chilli.
my personal favorite is guava chilli. literally brings back those childhood memories of us having guava with salt and red chili powder. best part about this place all the ice creams are preservative free and u can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. totally worth on your pocket too. :)
visit this place for more :)

wanted to sample and ordered banoffee pie cream and belgium chocolate single scoop each for myself and my 10 year old daughter. i had tried such expensive ice creams in the past but some how i still preferred the native in terms of taste. so i was little skeptical and kept my fingers crossed when i ordered. little disappointed as the timeline for delivery was showing 1.5 hours which is too long a wait. but to my surprise, received the order in 45 mins. packing - 2 plastic cups properly sealed with the name return on top and delivered in an aluminium foil. no leaks. i first tasted the belgium chocolate which i bought for my daughter. it first looked as if it was too hard to scoop it but my spoon went in smoothly and when we tasted it (with lot of skepticism), i must say it felt really heavenly. my daughter loved it. banoffee pie which had a banana taste (never tried a banana flavour) with the crunchy cookies in it was too good. what i liked the best about this ice cream is that it was very evident in the texture that it is hand-made but yet it tasted so great. definitely worth the money!!!! try a scoop.

~ critic to the point ~

flavours ordered : grapeful, chai spice cream, coffee cinnamon & roasted almond, honey ginger & granate molasses & backyard mint refresher.

pros : delivered as an ice cream instead of a smoothie, new flavours. packaging was in a tote bag with a card with all their flavours & item list (guess this adds to the reason why the price is higher than competition & quantity is lower than peers)

cons : for inr 100.00 a scoop, the scoop can be a standard scoop size at least.

can be better : i am someone who like the flavour to be rich & not subtle. grapeful was the only one which made the cut for me.

makes a refreshing change from the artificial flavors of commercial ice cream brands. i'm pretty sure it's healthier too.

i had the butterscotch almond brittle and i'm keen to try other flavors next time. hope they expand and open up a physical location soon. it would be a sweet hangout spot.

right from the first post, i saw about this place on a social handle (via my friend) i was so interested to sample their ice-creams. and one of the flavors that caught my attention was ‘chai’; having a tea fanatic at home it’s hard to impress him with desserts. and finally, to give a tiny surprise to my husband, i ordered via phone. they only do home delivery for now.

my order was one scoop of callebaut belgian chocolate, banoffee pie cream, and chai spice cream. the packing was neat and there was no spillage. one of their best seller and our favorite was the banoffee pie cream; the crunch from the biscuit crumbs and the creamy ice-cream was delightful.

being a chocolate lover, i thoroughly enjoyed the belgian chocolate. and the chai spice cream flavor was like drinking cold tea; the strong flavor of cinnamon wouldn’t be everyone's cup of ice-cream. but my husband loved the ice-cream; it was like scooping through a bowl of chai.

i paid rs.300 inr for the ice cream (1 scoop is priced rs.100 inr). and for delivery, they charged rs.75 inr and their delivery partner, for now, is genie. i really wish they reduce the delivery cost or plan out something else because the delivery charges almost come up to a scoop of ice-cream. though i think the ice-cream is priced apt, it’s the delivery charge that makes me skeptical to order them often. they have some interesting ice-cream flavors that one must give a try.

i got to know about shmoozie just recently and i've ordered twice already in alternate days.. the falovours they have are just so innovative and delicious. especially mango mint is the falovour for this summer. it's so refreshing. their packaging is good too. ordering in this summer i thought by the time i get my order the ice-cream would have melted but then the way they package the product with ice cubes, they were intact. and they have home delivery service too which is value adding.

i tried only the buttered walnut one. vanilla was the primary base and it's taste was as good as any average brand you will get. regardless, taste was good and price isn't very high.

might try some other flavour the next time
