shmoozie's hand-crafted ice creams

there are few times when we feel the best place to hangout is our own home. take a scoop of ice cream, chat with your parents, share the flavours with your spouse, lick from your daughters fingers, and add to all these, the ice cream tastes good and you don't shell out more sitting in a fancy ice cream joint.

yet to taste all the creations, but will do it in a couple of days. the must tries are mango mint, guava, chocolate brownie. the ice creams are very good to taste and heard that even the mint leaves are taken from their backyard.

the only bug for some people should be the travelling time, where because of chennai heat, the ice cream might melt.

could add ice cream shakes as well in the menu.

i must tell you, the ice creams are amazingly creamy, smooth in texture, and the best part is the promised flavour is there without any unnecessary sweetness. not just me, but even my parents are now shmoozie-peeps. thank you for sending this to us & doing wonders to our tastebuds :)

my top picks: chaispice, buttered walnut candy, honey ginger molasses, zapota, callebaut chocolate.

in this bag were:
1. grapefruit - perfect for a grape lover!
2. honey ginger & molasses - it's like eating a sugarcane juice ice cream - truly incredible and refreshing flavour!
3. zapota - sapota with a zing - so natural! loved it! so did my dad!
4. callebaut chocolate - rich, creamy, smooth chocolate. incredible.
5. strawberried - huge loads of strawberry flavour, though i felt fresh strawberry was missing!
6. backyard mint - i usually hate this flavour as it gets a bit bitter due to the mint being fresh, but this was incredibly refreshing!
7. chai spice - my favorite. so yummy. gonna keep asking for more!!!!
8. buttered walnut candy - for the first time there's not just walnut for the sake of richness, but you can actually taste the buttery toasted walnuts - brilliant!
9. banoffee pie - good consistency on the ice cream, but i thought the flavour was missing a bit!
10. coffee cinnamon - yummy! it was like a spiced coffee ice cream, so good after a meal!

their flavours are the best because they don't have the usual standard flavours but a mix of super cool combinations 💫

this cute home store serves some delicious flavors of ice cream. i tried the coffee with cinnamon, dark chocolate indulgence and banoffee. all three showcased authentic flavor, great taste and good quality.

outstanding flavours. haven't had something like this in chennai. tried 7 flavours till date and my favourite is the sapota. would recommend it to anyone who has a sweet tooth :)

my daily quest for something cold to sink my teeth into reminded me of shmoozie's.
placed an order for a litre of the "coffee cinnamon and roasted almond" ice cream and in the next 20 minutes my tub was delivered. talk about super quick and friendly service.
wondering about how each flavor is going to marry each other, i took my first bite to taste a creamy, smooth delight with a completely new flavor, coconut! but after clarification with the owner, she said coconut wasn't in the list of ingredients.
the filter coffee's flavor was mellow with a good amount of roasted almonds strewn about.
i was expecting a good hit of cinnamon, but i couldn't taste it. however, the menu does say "with a subtle cinnamon flavor" .
quality was top notch, as usual. the prices are super competitive. good packaging.
i'd choose shmoozie's over any other ice cream place.

the taste is as unique as the flavors! the honey ginger and banoffee pie are mind blowing. shmoozie's has redefined my taste in ice creams. shmoozie's is the real deal. i've tasted almost all their flavors and they have me hooked. if you're looking for the best ice creams in town, this is it!

each ice cream flavour is so unique and you can figure out its free from any preservatives or artificial flavouring.. loved every bite!! an absolute must for every foodie!

tried this place very randomly today. was really surprised at first but loved their banofee ice cream. as the host said its definitely their best. the coffee one was also pretty good. one more order is due soon.

the intake of ginger is good for general health, so what happens when one has ginger icecream 😃 particularly from this place called shmoozie's - i think it's good for your soul and you'll add up some good food karma😛. i'd no clue that ginger would leave me drooling. i would like to call it a masterpiece because the finishing touch was pomegranate molasses. that was my first stint at shmoozie's when i went with some friends probably a month and a half before and i also had a taste of the chai spicecream which was mind blowing too. i knew i'll be going back for more.

shmoozie's doesn't have a dine-in as yet. it's either takeaway or delivery. available in 500ml or 1l (tubs). when i got in touch with the shmoozie's team, i came to know that they do deliver across chennai for a minimum order of 500 and above.

shmoozie's is completely vegetarian and they can customise the flavours too. all orders need atleast 24 hours notice. their scoops are priced at ₹100 / 500ml tub at ₹400 / 1l at ₹700.

my order for home delivery was:

banoffee pie cream - supposed to be their best seller and i have no doubts on that.

filter coffee and roasted almonds: filter coffee and nuts, now beat that one in creativity.😜

butterscotch almond brittle: original butterscotch flavour enhanced with almond brittle grits.

guava: can't escape from the distinct taste of the pink guava.

delivery was through genie app which was hassle free. i was not called once for directions but got my package on time and in proper condition. the packing was top-notch with dry ice et all. very professional!
