new found favourite ice cream destination!

tucked in a quaint house along the streets of egmore, which cuts you off from the city's hustle bustle, is this little heaven that serves some brilliant ice creams. with very aesthetic outdoors and a cute, quirky set up indoors, it serves as the perfect spot to grab a scoop(or two!).
all the icecreamsare made with absolutely no artificial essence or colours and flavours are made from scratch, which is quite rare to find nowadays.
tried quite a few flavours during my visit which were salted caramel, pb & chocolate, grapeful (black grape), coffee cinnamon almond and belgian chocolate. the flavour of each one of them was mind blowing and the texture was spot on. also tried their icecream crumble bars. being a caramel lover, i went with the 7th heaven which is salted caramel ice cream held in a buttery biscuit base topped with candied pecan and more caramel, which was absolutely delightful. i instantly concluded that there's has got to be one of the best icecreamsthat i've had in the city. also tried their watermelon popsicles, during an event, and it was so simple yet satisfying on a hot summer day.
they've quite a nice variety of flavours with something for everythome, ranging from seasonal favourites to all time best sellers. service was extremely courteaus and we were patiently helped with selection and recommendation of flavours.
1 serving comes with 2 scoops of your preferred flavour. it may seem relatively pricy for a serving but in my opinion, considering the quality, it's totally worth it.

would 100% recommend this place to any looking (or not) for rich, creamy, delicious frozen goodness to end a meal (or have as an entire meal! jk!)

shmoozie's is the latest entrant to chennai(as an almost replete dessert bar). i was introduced courtesy of a family member who loves desserts. :) located in egmore, they have a good setup that doesn't scream out for attention but is soothing to the eye. good interiors and great ambience. they even have games to keep the ever busy brains busy. their competency i must say lies in their icecreamsfor sure. they have a fabulous collection of hand crafted ice creams(taste bud tantalizing flavors, i kid you not!!). from their chilli guava to watermelon and strawberry icecreams(and many more), all of them were highly satiating as was the quality. i am not a stickler for fruits much, yet, i found myself relishing these flavors. for kids who have an aversion to fruits, they might rethink it when they are faced with a scoop from shmoozie's. i ended up gobbling a tart called cbc, that i must admit was skeptical to try out in the beginning. yes, they do have pies, tarts & cakes. they do home delivery and packaging is neatly supported with dry ice. a 5 on 5 because they didn't and can't go wrong from here. a great alternative to other gourmet ice cream parlors out there. vfm without a doubt.

another place i had been wanting to go for a long time! this place is kinda difficult to locate as it in a small street off poonamalle high road( place is run by the owner from her house).. they serve 100% vegetarian icecreamswith only natural flavors! we ordered the following
banoffee pie, butterscotch, belgian chocolate, dark chocolate, mango mint and chilli gauva!
all the icecreamswere really good with a special mention for the mango mint and chilli guava (wanted more but they had only one pack as the pink guava was not available anymore). the fruit based icecreamsare freshly made according to the seasonal availability of the fruits! would like to visit again to try out the other flavors soon!

shmoozie’s is a great place to hangout with friends and family however it’s a small cozy set up with simple ambience. i got to taste their dessert of the day which was brownie + ice cream + chocolate sauce. the dessert tasted pretty good but the size of the brownie was really really tiny and does not balance well with the price i paid for it. they could definitely do better with the quantity.

the handcrafted icecreams(brownie belgium and dark chocolate indulgence) were really good.

i had expected a lot from all the raving reviews mentioned but was slightly disappointed with the food quantity.

good collection of icecreamsbut taste is not up to the mark!! kindly add more flavour to your icecreams- ambience is good, and good place to kill your time- strongly request to work on quality of icecreamsto match the price you are offering for.

having ice cream during summer is different. but having it during winters is a different level. experts say it also has the ability to cure colds.

go there and get yourself shmoozed except on mondays.

tried out the caramel and the custard apple (citaphal) flavours, they are really amazing. you’ll surely make it to the top.

a perfect go-to place for everyone. it's not just icecreamsthat they serve, they have a few other desserts too. but what really made me happy is the ambience of the place. the whole set up is pretty and serene and they also have books.

natural ice cream parlour with lots of flavours, they serve in cup, cone, popsticks & a biscuit type. icecreamsare totally incredibly yummy and delicious.

we couldn't get enough of these hand crafted icecreams.. they hit the right spot on our palettes.. creamy and just right. will definitely order from them again

a wonderful place for ice creams. salted caramel was my personal favourite. all the icecreamswere damn tasty. would 100 percent recommend this place.

i love the place. the ambience is nice with indoor and outdoor seating with enough parking space. it's located at a very quaint place behind sudha hotel and left street to prince courtyard.
now talking about the real deal the icecreamshere are just unique hardly would find elsewhere. that's why explicitly mentioned hand crafted.

the flavours i tried were banoffie pie - there best seller..salted caramel 😋 honey & ginger - had first time ever tasted great..mint freshener - cool..mangolicious..strawberylicious😘..chilly guava - very unique a must try atleast once & my fav too...belgian chocolate - they make it somewhat better.🤗.& many more.
the pricing is 150 (increased from 120/-) for a scoop or two small scoops for two diff. flavours (that's the best part)..
they also have sorbets, crumbles, popsicles etc.
wow. a definite visit. hoping to get a taste of something new everytime on my next visits.

truely, one of the beautiful, aesthetic places to spend your evening with friends. mouth- watering and unique ice-cream flavours will leave you longing for another visit. reasonable price. it is a very quite place, surrounded with beautiful plants and greenery. although it is quite hard to find this place, i promise these shmoozie icecreamsare worth your time and effort.
