seaspice brasserie & lounge

sadly after being one of my favourite restaurants in miami on my last visit the food andservicewas poor. 3 hours for all wrong orders. the fish was dry and tasteless. lovely ambiance but after waiting 3 hours for our rude waiter to get a order wrong i don’t know if i’d return.

place is really nice with a wonderful view and location, this are the high notes. food is not good andserviceis weak. this place thinks that you have to be overcharged to be well treated. management is very poor , maybe they think miami doesn’t deserves goodservice. overrated place.

the food and theservicewas excellent! i highly recommend the seafood platter! the view is also beautiful! i would definitely come back here!

imagine combining some of the best food from sugarcane with the privileged setting at seaspice, the creative taste sensations of modern garden and professional, friendly service. that describes the “new” seaspice miami on the river, now a serious favorite of yours truly. last november the  owners brought over angel leon from sugarcane, teamed him up with benjamin goldman formerly of shikany  along with european managers on theserviceside, and there you have a new winning team. the crowd was also appealing – a  mix of anglos and latinos, good age mix, and cosmopolitan, judging by appearances. they got the lighting right – soft and romantic, and not competing with the lights from the river and its passing boats or the miami skyline. the music was the right level, too. choose to sit on the open air deck or my preferred place at night (it’s quieter) at a table inside, though next to the doors which are opened onto the deck.

worst experience ever. do not come here for miami spice. we went here for miami spice. we should have left the moment we got in. to start the hostess was rude. the minute we mentioned that we were here for the miami spice menu she looked disgusted. if you are "booji" or love pretentious dinning this is your nirvana. after sitting us down, we waited 15 minutes just to get a drink and 45 minutes later for the food. after we ordered, our waitress was never to be found again. the food was good but the portions for the miami spice menu were ridiculously small. if the point for the miami spice is to promote restaurants, they should drop the attitude or not participate at all. we will never come back here, even though we liked the food, theservicecompletely ruined the experience.

worst food ever!!!!! gets to the table cold and soggy. drinks are watered down andserviceis ok although our waiter didn't speak english he was attentive. don't waist your money there's a lot of good restaurants in miami with great food and ambiance.

despite the bad comments from friends regarding this restaurant'sservicei wanted to check it out. what a mistake.

absolutely the worstservicei have ever had. made a reservation for 7 a month in advance and we were not seated for our 9:30 reservation until 12:30. the food from what was left (as they had sold out of half of the selection by the time we were seated was very good for the price) baring the fact i order mussels and they brought clams and told me when serving they were out of mussels. the location and the overall décor were wonderful. the food prices are very low which may be why people keep coming. that said i got the overall feel that it is really a club/lounge masked as a restaurant.... don’t be fooled.

this place has a lot of potential as a club or a restaurant but not both!

cant wait to go back...... this place will create an addiction ... we just visit this location last sunday and it was pouring down. but after jayz we wanted to give a shot... and i can tell you that one of the best food andserviceas well as the ambiance.. we cant wait to go back next sunday.. dj pierre it was nice to see you body you still have the moves.. by far this place will be the hottest place in town..

great celebrity spot... we have been living on and off brickell, this place is gem on miami river with lost of celebrity hangout. food andserviceis great, one of the best cocktail and wine list and not pricey at all, we loved the caliente crush cocktail, it took a while but it was great. food is one of kind with large portions, andservicewas good as well , floor manager erik and mostafa was very kind and pleasant , we knew mostafa from wolensky he knows how to treat miami regulars. kuddos

not worth the wait. what a disappointment, food andservicenot what i expected. pricey and just not that good from the salad to the desert.
