noon on friday afternoon you could count the people on one hand in this mod newcomer, and yet by 3:30 pm you couldn’t get a seat. apparently they lunch late in miami. and lunch they do, it certainly wasn’t the leisure, i have nothing to do but shop, eat, boat and golf crowd; every table was was suited up. movers and shakers, dealmakers, and rainmakers or so it appeared. oh and ladies, 97% of the tables were occupied by well-groomed, professional, and exceptionally well-dressed men, just in case you’re looking for you’re nextplaceto lunch with a view. seasalt & pepper, miami when in miami….and just like all the other lunchers at seasalt & pepper we did just that, lunch. according seasalt & pepper’s website they describe their culinary style as “ serious cu

terrible service! waiters don't have a clue of the meaning of customer service. our server started questioning the order we were making, he was rude, and dissapointed by the fact we only wanted 3 appetizers to start our meal for our 9 ppl table. theplacewas really noisy, it is more of a lounge than a restaurant. we left the "restaurant" at that moment... enough of bad customer service.

place is really nice with a wonderful view and location, this are the high notes. food is not good and service is weak. thisplacethinks that you have to be overcharged to be well treated. management is very poor , maybe they think miami doesn’t deserves good service . overrated place.

imagine combining some of the best food from sugarcane with the privileged setting at seaspice, the creative taste sensations of modern garden and professional, friendly service. that describes the “new” seaspice miami on the river, now a serious favorite of yours truly. last november the  owners brought over angel leon from sugarcane, teamed him up with benjamin goldman formerly of shikany  along with european managers on the service side, and there you have a new winning team. the crowd was also appealing – a  mix of anglos and latinos, good age mix, and cosmopolitan, judging by appearances. they got the lighting right – soft and romantic, and not competing with the lights from the river and its passing boats or the miami skyline. the music was the right level, too. choose to sit on the open air deck or my preferredplaceat night (it’s quieter) at a table inside, though next to the doors which are opened onto the deck.

situated right off of the miami river by the fresh fish market, we were tremendously impressed with how beauteous thisplacewas. the architecture is exquisite and we caught ourselves admiring theplacethroughout dinner taking in the ambience. the restaurant is colossal with ample seating indoors, outdoors and at the bar. the water skyline paints a majestic backdrop that is visible from both the inside and the dockside seating. sea-faring tycoons may navigate their yacht and dock it there, if they are so inclined. we do not know if aqua valet is extra. for your reading pleasure, we will highlight our favorite dishes of the night.

right on the river with a luxury yacht usually at anchor, seasalt and pepper has the kind of setting and casual chic ambiance that visitors would expect in miami. the fish is always fresh and well prepared, but thisplaceis mostly about theplaceand the scene. it’s hot, hot, hot so reserve well in advance.$$$$

despite the bad comments from friends regarding this restaurant's service i wanted to check it out. what a mistake.

absolutely the worst service i have ever had. made a reservation for 7 a month in advance and we were not seated for our 9:30 reservation until 12:30. the food from what was left (as they had sold out of half of the selection by the time we were seated was very good for the price) baring the fact i order mussels and they brought clams and told me when serving they were out of mussels. the location and the overall décor were wonderful. the food prices are very low which may be why people keep coming. that said i got the overall feel that it is really a club/lounge masked as a restaurant.... don’t be fooled.

thisplacehas a lot of potential as a club or a restaurant but not both!

looking for a specialplaceto take your date to that will score you some serious points? or how about going to indulge on some fresh mediterranean seafood while running into celebrities like beyoncé, jay z and ryan phillippe. yup, whether you're starstruck or planning a romantic night out, seasalt and pepper , the new seafood restaurant located at 422 n.w. north river drive on the miami river, is making waves.   created by developer and designer stephane dupoux, who is also the mastermind of places like pearl, nikki beach and buddha bar resorts, along with a team of visionaries, seasalt and pepper brings the river a stylish, miamiesque vibe complete with sleek, sultry curtains and a nautical theme. i totally loved the decor from the moment i walked in. set in one of the area's industrial warehouses, the 200-seat eatery offers on-the-water dining, an event space, an outdoor lounge and an eclectic menu.   beef tomato burrata meli melo of tartar to start off with, let me tell you that it

seasalt and pepper (brasserie and lounge), a waterfront seafood bistro with 225 feet of docking facility, two dining rooms, an event space, and an outdoor lounge located on the bank of the miami river, is introducing the area to some serious culinary swagger personified by a new sleek restaurant that focuses on restyled gastro classics and modern cocktailing. chat chow was invited to check out theplaceand we left really impressed. below’s a first look at some of our favorite dishes. #gallery-1{margin:auto;}#gallery-1 .gallery-item{float:left;margin-top:10px;text-align:center;width:33%;}#gallery-1 img{border:2px solid #cfcfcf;}#gallery-1 .gallery-caption{margin-left:0;} puffed pita bread service from @seasaltandpeppermia meli melo of tartar – tuna, salmon, scallops, crab, watercress pesto, avocado fries, soya pesto marinade #seafood #appetizer #waterfront #dining octopus a la plancha – evoo, fresh herbs, lemon zest from @seasaltnpepper_ #waterfr
