it's been four years since i first visited seaspice (thenseasaltand pepper) when they first opened in the winter of 2013. given south florida's random culinary rules and often flighty patrons, it's an impressive achievement for them to be still standing and enjoying great success. cruising that long on the miami dining horizon takes vision, discipline, resilience, talent, and a tiny droplet of luck.

yesseasaltand pepper, let's talk about your food and service.. the places on front of us this georgeous pita bread toasted to perfection, salted just right and with bits of parmesan cheese, we were happy already. paul ordered the mahi mahi that came with potatoes and tasted a number 9, and that is a high rate coming from us. the for dessert we ordered chocolate something, you can see on the photo. it was beautifullly presented and tasted like it looks.

right on the river with a luxury yacht usually at anchor,seasaltand pepper has the kind of setting and casual chic ambiance that visitors would expect in miami. the fish is always fresh and well prepared, but this place is mostly about the place and the scene. it’s hot, hot, hot so reserve well in advance.$$$$
