season's 52 - jacksonville, fl. my family of 9 multigenerational members met at season's 52 - jacksonville for a saturday lunch celebraion of mother's day. we were pleasantly surprised at being seated in their private room without requesting it. the staff was so helpful and attentive. the menu is so varied that everyone found something to order and all meals were very enjoyable. the small desserts are perfect for a celebratory lunch. thisrestaurantwas great for grandparents and older grandchildren alike!

once is enough. this is a corporate" play by the rules" restaurant. the waiters all assume that they are supposed to be your best friend throughout the evening. not a place where you can have a conversation during dinner with your dinner mates. too intrusive. animated loud talking bar tender drove us crazy at the bar. there is a not so wonderful piano in the center of the bar. when the player/singer starts, they send it all over therestauranton every loudspeaker. yikes. food was good, but food is good in many places. wouldn't be a must go back spot for me.

a good option. my sister and i ate lunch at seasons 52 today and thoroughly enjoyed it. therestaurantis gorgeous and the service was impeccable. we had the spicy pork taco flatbread and it was a great way to start our meal. the flatbread was super crispy, the pork was delicious and the spicy sauce had some real heat to it (not for the faint of heart). the chicken caesar sandwich was creamy and had an abundant amount of chicken on it. the buffalo burger was tender, and melt in your mouth good. the mini desserts were a good way to end our meal. we had the red velvet cake and the chocolate peanut butter and both were delicious. seasons 52 is definitely for the lighter appetite, and costs a little more but offers tasty items not available elsewhere.

i was told by a friend that seasons 52 was named 52 because they would have a new menu every week. i thought that was crazy, but super inventive and i went 2 times in one month and it was the same menu from the previous dinner so i'm guessing she was either wrong or the just kept it seasonal to help with simplicity for the employees which is okay for me. the interior is very classy and if you like lemon you'll love this place because every entrée, i believe, comes with a grilled or charred lemon to freshly squeeze over your entrée. for "oh so" many calories, this place is impressive, but i went on a night where they were playing live music and the entertainer almost ruined a lot of classic songs for me. i couldn't wait to get out of thatrestaurantthat night, but it's perfect for health fanatics who can't eat at a singlerestaurantbecause of the crazy calories at other restaurants.

the atmosphere was delightful, with live music of classic songs not too loud to overpower table conversation. the inside is dark and intimate but comfortable .our waiter was outstanding and so kind. he recommended the dishes we ordered and always came back to check in on us. it was our friend's birthday and our waiter brought out a full dessert and covered the cost on him! customer service from our waiter morgan made our visit all the better. the food although pricey was well worth it . i had the filet mignon and as our waiter said it was definitely the best dish on the menu. cooked to perfection. the shrimp and grits were also an impressive dish. i would recommend thisrestaurantto anyone as it turned out to be a fun relaxing night at seasons 52.

hostess wasn't hospitable. loved the food, but did not feel welcome. on a quiet sunday afternoon, when therestaurantwas nearly empty, we were told there would be a "few minute" wait. nearly 10 minutes later, we heard the blond hostess tell several more customers that it would be a 10-20-minute wait. they did not stay. did i mention that therestaurantwas nearly empty? we finally asked to be seated at the bar. the food was fresh, innovative and lovely, but the dining experience starts at the front door. such a classy establishment should have equally welcoming employees, especially on slow days.

the food was average and decent but will never go there again. this was the first time. my husband and i decided to get 2 appetizers (lobster and goat cheese ravioli) and we were certainly glad we did because both portions were considerably small. i also got the butternut squash soup because i was freezing cold and wanted to warm up. my husband ordered roasted chicken and i ordered flatbread. the flat bread was burned and a small portion. now i am 5 ft 6 and no more than 125 lbs. i am in great shape and take care of my body every day but when i am going out to eat dinner - i plan to eat and i expect left overs to take home. after the appetizers, the soup, and the flatbread i had no food left to take home and i left hungry, i had to eat chips and a sandwich when i got home. that never happens. i admit i had barely eaten during the day but come on i should not have still been hungry after that. i think thisrestaurantwould benefit from having two separate menus - healthy options and not so healthy options. and this doesn't even include the cost. we thought we were going for a fine dining experience but absolutely everything was so costly that you expected more. don't waste your time or your money. i wasted my valentines day dinner on that.

the steak was perfectly cooked and so tender. no additional sauce was needed. it melted in my mouth. served with mashed potatoes and mushrooms. two of my favorites.

ordered shrimp entree they pass the good off as fresh but it was obviously frozen and prestuffed the $20.95 menu price did not meet the quality or quantity of the food. tried thisrestaurant3 times, the chain mentality is apparent.

not fishy at all. the lemongrass sauce on top created a crisp & light taste which is perfect for spring. the basmati rice & spring vegetables were also delicious. it’s so nice to go to arestaurantthat serves more than broccoli as a vegetable.

great concept!. we ate at seasons 52 yesterday evening. this is the greatest concept that i have ever heard of....so simple, but yet so sophisticated.

in a nutshell: all menu items are under 420 calories. you feel like you are in a medium upscalerestaurantwith a clean and cool atmosphere, but you do not have to worry that they are feeling your food with empty calories.

the food is delicious. we had the chicken skewers and chilled tiger shrimp as appetizers. we mentioned the black bean chili and our waiter (who was the bartender since we did not have reservations) brought us two samples of the chili to sample. great up-sell and we ordered the soup as well. it was great and came with a dense whole grain breadstick to for dipping.

for our entrees we had the grilled trout and the pork tenderloin, but of which were tasty and moist.

what can i say, if you are in naples, this would be a great place to stop by, but mark my words, there will be a season 52 in every city in the country over the next ten years.

major salt hazard. if you don't care for salt, then thisrestaurantis not for you. every entree was filled with salt from the vegetables to the meats and fish. very disappointing. apparently its done because the facility cooks with lower amounts of fat. nevertheless its a health concern and anyone with hypertension or other medical problems should look elsewhere. food cannot be made to order as most "prepping" is done in the morning to save time. there is probably more sodium in the food than in a meal at mcdonalds. don't be fooled into thinking that seasonal means fresh. not everything on the menu is fresh, many items are pre-prepared which was confirmed by our server.

nice addition to jacksonville. i have been here a few times and have had a pleasant experience (for the most part). when i sit in the dining area (oppose to the bar), i have always had excellent servers. when i sit in the bar area, it has been hit or miss with the service.

what i really like about seasons 52 is the menu is always changing. i'm kind of spoiled by the samerestaurantin orlando (i go there frequently when i'm traveling for business, and the service has never - i repeat never - been below superb)!

long in short, i suggest everyone try thisrestaurant(at least once).

seasons 52 is arestaurantthat offers seasonal menus with fresh ingredients and promises that all dishes are under 475 calories. i was skeptical at first. most of the restaurants that offer low calorie items achieve this by offering small portions or swapping out the side item for veggies. not seasons 52. our waitress told us that they try to bring out the flavor in the food instead of using butter...as a matter of fact, they don't even have butter in the restaurant! we were seated in the carneros room at the front of the restaurant. the room reminded me of a florida sunroom and was very open and had lots of natural light from the wall of windows. we checked out the menu and thought we were ready to order, until we saw the flatbreads at the table next to us. they lo

i lived it! my husband & i went to seasons a few weeks ago for a date night. it is so refreshing to be able to dine in arestaurantthat serves very tasty menu items along with the fact that each are under 400 cal & most are organic or natural. they do an amazing job which allows the food to burst with flavor. my husband doesn't usually like low cal meals, but this place sparked his interest! they also do a cool little presentation with the desserts which are placed in shot glasses, so knowing you aren't blindly eating 3 or 4 servings is an added bonus!
