well worth the line!! thetacosare great. i had the mahi mahitacosand they were very enjoyable. the patio is lovely and minnehaha falls is so much better when you have just had a great seafood meal.

really, i never heard of scalloptacosbefore, but all the pictures i saw of sea salt's bay scalloptacosreally got me interested and eventually converted me into a fan. it was my sole reason to come and finally try sea salt. well, also to take my visiting family to check out minnehaha falls. :)

thosetacos- wow...delicious! loads of crispy bay scallops piled on two layers of tortillas, topped with salsa, corn relish, and cilantro. there were so many things on the menu; yet, i went straight to the scallop tacos. i couldn't think of anything else the whole time i stood in line. yes, the line....it was long but it was worth it. after i put thosetacosaway, i wanted to go back in line for more. what is this? six flags' roller coaster ride? i wish i had the wrist band for all day passes to scallop tacos.

we also ordered the fishtacosthat looked and tasted so mighty good. i had a bite of it from my brother in law's plate. yumm. the clam strips were a bit overcooked but we didn't leave anything behind still.

it was a nice afternoon at the park. i couldn't believe all this beauty and we're in the middle of a city. it was pretty cool. i can't wait to go back and will be back before they're close after the season is over.

sea salt is everything i had hoped it to be. i really do believe in it and i may make it my church and visit every sunday. the line is pretty much like a communion line. bring it on. even if i exaggerated, i am a huge fan now and will come visit often.

this is our traditional stop when we do our long weekend bike rides. absolutely love the fishtacos- minus the wait time, this place has a great view of minnehaha falls, along with small live music and great people watching!

really? today (sun.) we waited 1.5 hrs to finally get our food after first arriving at 6:15. the salad, fried seafood andtacoswere good, but hardly memorable, with plastic plates, etc. and a fairly hefty price ($50 for four, no beverages). they seem to command such a long line simply by having a monopoly on food service there. absolutely not worth it unless there's no line.

we still had a good time. the atmosphere was great.
fishtacoswere meh. it was all that great.
crab cake was alright.
the calamari though was amazing. it was fairly fresh.

very hyped restaurant. my first experience was somewhat disappointing. aside from the long wait (we were warned of this) the food was overpriced and under flavored. crab cake was good, mahi fishtacoswere lacking greatly in flavor. i would order something different if i dined here again.

sea salt just opened for the season, and i just had my first of many visits of the summer. it was just as delicious as i remembered it to be. i had the fishtacostopped with cole slaw. they are so fresh and summery, and even though it was a little chilly on the patio, i couldn't think of anywhere i'd rather be. they didn't have premium beer this time, but had pbr instead which i preferred.

we spent the most lovely day at minnehaha falls and then went over to sea salt eatery which serves a whole bunch of seafood. we tried the fried fish, the fried catfish, the fried calamari and surprise, surprise, the fried prawns. everything tasted really good and the servings were huge! but my favourite was the fried fish tacos. light and lemony, the fish was perfectly balanced with the salsa. i dream of fishtacosnow.

the food took a ridiculously long time to come considering the number of people there. when it did come almost everything was cold and ourtacoswere bland. the appetizer arrived at the same time as everything else. the ingredients are fresh, but the service, cooking, and overall quality is severely lacking. i will never go there again.

not worth the wait!. we expected sea salt to be busy on a beautiful september evening but we did not expect to wait in line for 45 minutes and then wait an hour to get our food. we had heard that it was a family friendly place - - which just isn't true! first, they only had one item on their menu that was geared towards kids - - it would have been nice to have an option of fish strips or something along those lines. second, what kid wants to sit and wait an hour and 45 minutes to eat! our kids were starving by the time the food got there and were so disappointed that the veggie burger they got was burnt and the fruit that came with the meal was basically the rind of a catalope. my husband gave the kids his fish sandwich which was very little fish and mostly fried breading. the kids ended up eating the buns of both sandwiches and that was it! my 4 year old daughter (who loves eating out) declared "this place stinks" and asked to go home! i had the fishtacoswhich were ok but not worth the wait! i won't go back!

average at best, but great scenery. i was looking forward to trying out the sea salt eatery for nearly the entire winter but when i finally made the time to eat there i found the experience very unsatisfying. the food was mostly tasteless - i had the fish tacos, calamari appetizer, and a crab stuffed avocado special.

the fishtacosin particular were disappointing, possessing no flavor in the batter or fish itself and it was so soggy it split the tortilla wrap in half. i will give them credit for good and fast service, contrary to what many other reviewers have stated.

but, as far as seafood goes - this wouldn't be on the top of my list. the only thing that saved the day was the beautiful surroundings and of course the waterfall. definitely not worth a special trip.

seriously the best fishtacosi have ever had. their draft list was surprisingly unique and seemed to have something for everyone. beautiful patio and groovy staff. head put to sea salt and you won't be disappointed.

location is great, fishtacosare good, service is slow.

sea salt eatery. beautiful location! went about 7 pm and stood in line for a half hour to order. had the fishtacos(grilled tilapia) which were delicious. twotacosper order, and they seemed a bit skimpy on the fish, but for $7 not bad i guess. i loved that they had a "sauce bar" where you could choose your own sauces to add some zip. once we ordered it took another half hour to get the food, but it was a beautiful summer evening, lots of people, so maybe this is the norm? i wouldn't go if you are on a time schedule. anyway, had a scoop of their cinnamon crunch ice cream for dessert - yum! i would go there again.
