used to be good, but not now. the food is sometimes still good, but it's gotten careless. there are about 10 employees crowded behind the counter, but service still manages to be painfully slow. and with all those people, no one seems to be available to go outside and clean things up. table tops and chairs are often gummy and greasy. garbage cans are often overflowing.
we live in the neighborhood and in its first few years, thought of sea salt as a fun go-to place for an outdoor meal. we went many times a summer. now we rarely go. it's not worth the epiclinewe have to stand in every time (be prepared to wait 30 or 45 minutes to place your order---it's not uncommon) or the prices, which are high for many items. i just had one of the bargain options, grilled mahi tacos, for lunch. only $7, but also nothing i'd order again. they were flavorless with just a trace of the salsa that was mentioned on the menu, and the limp, damp tortillas that were the soft taco shells fell apart.
