holy cow! first time to savianos and i felt obligated to tell everyone just how unbelievable this place really is. really this restaurant makes carrabbas, olive garden, jonny carrinos and any other "mom & pop" restaurant look like dogs without their bone! completely amazed, the owner is in his mid twenties and has this place bolted down and knows how to make the customer 100 percent happy. he gets his recipes from his "cute old italian nanny" who lives in his hometown, new york. it is a classy place with very good pricing(hard to find). order the salmon piccatta, and enjoy the bread nots. very impressed and will be back, probably tomorrow...

we were extremely disappointed with the owner and how he handled hisself. never going back there or recommending to anyone every again.

so incredibly disappointed by the owner. my step dad and i had been planning a surprise birthday dinner for my mom for over a month and he completely ruined it. we had called ahead earlier in the day to confirm that we did in fact have everything set up and that the reservations we had made nearly a month in advance (since it was valentines weekend and we knew they’d be busy) were in place. they confirmed this with him and told him everything would be ready. i brought my mom there in hopes of surprising her with her husband who had driven over 10 hours from kansas to come see her for her birthday and take her to her favorite restaurant. we had been coming here for over 7 years for her birthday as a treat since it can be pricy. i got there first and walked in to make sure they wouldn’t say how many the reservations was for only to be told ‘we don’t take reservations. the wait would be an hour.” by the hostess who was trying to be helpful. i asked again to make sure, mentioning that my stepdad had literally just called and confirmed it when the owner stepped in. he then informed me that they do not take reservations for less than 12 people. my mom comes in the door and she begins trying to talk to him and express her disappointment. i call in my stepdad from his car in the parking lot telling him the situation. when he is trying to get the owners attention while not letting my mom know that it’s him to keep the surprise, the owner proceeds to scream at him for snapping his fingers and starts a shouting match in front of everyone else who was waiting to be seated along with the rest of the restaurant . ruining what should have been an extremely special moment between my stepdad and my mom who hadn’t seen each other since thanksgiving.

i wish i could give them a zero but since that is not possible they get a one.

yummy in my tummy!. my family has been eating at saviano's for years. i would strongly encourage anyone who had a bad experience to go back because the food really is great and any restaurant is going to have an "off" night every once in a while. the atmosphere is very welcoming with dim lighting and music. the owner has two sons and one of the three are always there.
the drinks: they only serve house wine which are all quite tasty! they have small wine glasses but fill them all the way up to the top. you really get your money's worth. i believe you can bring your own wine if you like with a corking fee...
the food: i've had pretty much everything on the menu besides the seafood because i don't care for seafood. everything has been really good but if you need suggestions i would say to definitely try the pizza, penne alla vodka (so good!), and the cappellini capri. those are my faves. entrees come with a small salad and bottomless garlic knots.

saviano's is a great little gem of euless. the food is excellent and the service is good. anyone looking for great italian food without all the bells and whistles that come with fancier restaurants should go to saviano's.

i am surprised by this place. i used to live here years ago and never visited this place. it looked different back then. fast forward to today and i’m in town and looking for some place to eat. i find that this place has been renovated and has great reviews. i open the door and hear a buzzing crowd with a piano man in the background. the first thing i see is a couple walking out the door with to go boxes and a gentleman (i’m guessing a chef/food personnel) from the kitchen stops him and tells the customer that he wants to bag his food for him. what amazing customer service!!! i sat at the bar to place a to-go order and the staff were all so nice. i was offered something to drink while i waited for my food. upon leaving several people told me thank you and a male younger than me said thank you doll (with a southern tone). next time i am in town i will definitely be back. the spaghetti is amazing. not too sweet and not too salty. the only thing i would suggest is too add more garlic or flavor to the knots. keep up the amazing customer service because it can make or break you!!

my fiancé took me here for our anniversary!it was very crowded for a thursday evening.the food was delicious!!!the restaurant had a nice romantic feel to it.the only thing that we did not like was that the music was a bit loud.i had to sit closer to my fiancé to be able to hold a conversation.we asked the waitress if the music could be turned down.she went and had someone turn it down, but it was still loud.other than that, it was great!we will definitely be going back.

service was too efficient, moved us through like cattle. quaint little place, food was good, served nice and hot. house wine was good. one major thing that i don't appreciate, rushing us to finish and it wasn't even the weekend or busy. dinner came with our salads still half eaten, and i do not eat slow. by the time we got the check i was still attempting not to guzzle my only glass of wine, which was still half full. probably won;t return because of that, sorry.

surprised, but incredibly so. when my family and i moved here almost two years ago, finding certain restaurants was just not on our minds. we imagined we would find decent mexican, and decent bbq. chinese and italian were the furthest things from our minds. we have lived in nyc, los angeles, along with five other states, and have experienced some good food along the way. saviano's literally knocked us out. it is in short, one of the top three italian restaurants my family has had the pleasure to enjoy. by now, we've tried everything on the menu, and their quality of ingredients, matched with the most amazing tastes has never left us wanting. we have settled into three of our personal favorites, amongst them being the fabulous and delicate chicken parmesan, a burst of light flavors that taken as a whole, come together to make the most amazing taste and texture. the marinara is out of this world delicious! shrimp alfredo...the girls favorite. it's as decadent as a cream sauce can be without being too heavy, matched with perfectly cooked pasta, and fresh firm shrimp. we always make sure to order a cheese pie, which gives us a quintessential new york style, in the middle of texas? who knew? we couldn't be happier! i don't ever comment on a place's décor, because, well, we're all of the mind that we eat for food, not for draperies, but you can't get more authentic a feel than their family style atmosphere. if you want a taste of home, saviano's is a must. we usually order take out, and enjoy movie night together. they make ordering take out as easy as it can be. friendly, but not over-attentive of a staff. you feel like you're only a moment from being helped, but never feel as if you're constantly having to say "no thank you, we're fine". all in all, saviano's is the best italian we've had in years. give them a try.

fantastic italian restaurant in euless. i was surprised to find a restaurant this good in a very understated location. i've tried almost everything on the menu, but the wicki chicken is amazing. the service staff is always friendly and attentive. saviano's is our favorite choice for thursday evenings, when you might catch ray sharp on the piano. highly recommended!

surly, indifferent service. i've normally eaten at saviano's for lunch - occasionally supper.

past experience:
first, food has always been near the top of my list for mid-cities italian. lunch has been relatively fast and satisfying (line service brought to your table). suppers, slower, more relaxed (sit down table service).

yesterday's experience:
i went for a late lunch - by myself - and i was in a hurry.

slow, indifferent service took their time seating the couple in line in front of me. then went away to fetch that couple's drinks. when she finally came back, i told her wanted a table with light so i could read (they had already dimmed the lights to the dark supper service lighting). waitress asked what i wanted to drink and i told her "nothing" and she heeled around before she could hear me say "but i am ready to order." she stood by the salad station and left me there for about 10 minutes while she brought the next table's check, took their to-go order and disappeared into the kitchen. she brought that table's credit card back along with their to-go, all boxed up. and then disappeared behind the salad station again. finally, i started gathering up my paper to leave when she came back.

"ready to order?"

"i was ready 15 minutes ago. i've changed my mind." again, she heeled away without so much as a "is there anything i can do?"

as i turned to the door, i got a haughty "whatever!" from over my shoulder.

food: ????? (unable to say on this trip)
service: * (one out of five stars)

quaint place, delicious food. really enjoyed my visit to saviano's. had the baked manicotti. the blending of the herbs in the sauce really brought out the tomato flavor. i liked the subdued lighting in the restaurant also. it made you concentrate on the flavors of the food. very convenient location, right off of 183 just north on main street in euless. one of the better italian restaurants in the metroplex. my friends have been coming here for years and have always recommended it to me. they were right!
