great food, lovely atmosphere and fair pricing. their steamed pork buns are delicious, the mango salad is a must try. perfect for a group of friends or a first date.

we've been scratching our heads trying to come up with something we would have different at this little gem of a restaurant (we're picky like that); but we couldn't. everything from the fun, casual mood to the excellent, affordable food and efficient, friendly service is just flawless. with their latest expansion, the satay brothers can pride themselves with the hottest joint in saint-henri and our absolute favorite asian eatery in town.

cool ambiance and good food, perfect place for a quick stop on a busy day. the steamy buns with pork were excellent, the bun not been too sticky. also enjoyed the meat stick that were well seasoned.

great place to enjoy with a group of friends.  this place can get loud but their new restaurant space is beautiful.  service is fast and food comes out piping hot.

all dishes are meant to be shared so it's best to go as a group so you can order many things.  everything was good, but the highlights were: fried prawn dumplings, laksa and the papaya salad.  the garlic chinese brocoli is also underrated and i recommend it.

the place is busy so go early if you want to avoid the wait.

the main bartender who "claimed"  to own this place is a real bad...            he tries to get young women drunk so maybe they will sleep with him total #pig ... an when i called him out on his behavior he got pissed and told me to leave or he would call the police... the food is ok.. there are a lot of hit and misses but in a city with little competition in the asian fusion genre ... where else can you go...  #nothere i hope

fair food - with bad staff  - why give your money to #demons ...??

find a more noble place to spend your hard earned dollars...

with truth, akr

when you have a friend's gathering with kids and you don't know what to eat, satay brothers might help you. their winter location has enough place for kids and a little group. the waiter can also recommend you the right place with accommodation size. in general, their food tastes great but spicy at time.

the names is hard to remember but the tastes definitely quite unique. according to the waitress a singaporean flavor makes them unique. the previous location felt like small jewel, this new site is larger and more comfortable but it lacks the character of the old tiny site. ... then again... we are here for the food right!

after spending the day outside, taking in the sun, diva #2 and g-spot were getting a little hungry. or rather, diva #2 was hungry and made g-spot change her dinner date plans. but it was also the perfect opportunity to meet g-spot’s new beau and torture him a bit!. we headed to the brick and mortar of satay brothers on notre-dame ouest. they also have a location in the atwater market which is open during the summer months but we chose the original location. satay brothers serves authentic south asian cuisine and more importantly, when dining with someone with self-inflicted dietary restrictions, vegetarian options.

great food and energy. unfortunately our experience was lessened due to an error in processing our order. my wife was served quickly, i waited for my order. when i noted that a few orders for the same food were being served despite having been placed after mine i enquired. after a brief scramble i was told my order would be coming shortly. when it was delivered the staff made excuses rather than simply recognizing their error. the latter is what dinged the score.

delicious south-eastern asian food. always fresh, always good. their new location has a cool and casual ambiance but the service can be a bit shaky. the entire menu is amazing but rarely changes - which is why it's perfect cooked all the time!

i really enjoyed my experience at satay brothers!

we showed up around 6:30 and didn't wait more than 10 minutes before our party of 6 was seated.

everything was delicious and we especially enjoyed the skewers and bao (my new favorite snack!) however be warned, when they say spicy - they mean it!

fun and relaxed atmosphere. i would definitely recommend this restaurant!
